With Daniel Moran and Fernando Moniz now long-term absentees and skipper Paul Fee kicked out of the game midway through the first half, the Reserves, with four trialists in the squad, kept their unbeaten run going since the re-start of fixtures with a 2-1 win over a determined Larkhall Thistle side on the excellent main grass pitch at Dalziel Park. Julien Kouame scored his sixth goal in the last six games to open the scoring, set up by trialist striker Djalma Dos Santos to establish a half-time lead, and after the hosts had equalised from a corner, Kieran Dolan netted the winner with his powerful shot diverted past the Thistle keeper. The Reserves largely dominated the second half, creating a series of chances, the closest being when the impressive Ryan Devine hit the post, but couldn’t add to their lead. Team: Smith; Fernie, Watt (Kasule), Greenwood, Kasongo; Fee (Sweeney) (Wilson), Devine; Kouame, McVey, Dolan; Dos Santos (White). Unused sub: Grajauskas.
