In addition to the stickers on lampposts I don't think it's very clever displaying flags at Cliftonhill with drug references! View AttachmentIt's actually an insurance company logo, which has gone through several incarnations over the years. www.redbull.com/gb-en/history-of-the-acid-house-smileyIf it gets banned from Cliftonhill, I'll pay the guys for its cost and put it up in my flat (beside the Nirvana poster). 🤣🤣🤣

Hopefully the rubbish thing is just a one off - having been behind the goals the last two games think the guys are doing a great job adding a bit of colour to the the ground having their own section makes sense too.
Maybe we could move the bin closer to them now we know where they are standing - think its at the other side of the stand just now.
The flag stuff - My big cousins had stuff with that on it in about 1994 don't think its a big deal. TBF it would be more embarrassing to have Calvin Harris lyrics than a tongue and cheek reference to acid house.
The stickers i can take or leave wouldn't want loads of them about but i've seen a few covering Celtic & Rangers ones that were up before which makes an improvement!

I see that this banned group are once more in attendance at Cliftonhill. Some coloured flags on the end terracing and congregating after the match at the front of the stadium inside then just outside on the grass next to the "wicket" gate with the flag emblazoned "Ultras".

I don’t think any of this new wee group are / were part of the old group as such and are much much younger.,
And I used the word ‘old’ deliberately. Never has there ever been an ‘ultra’ group with such an old average age! And despite my cheap shot there- Those guys are by and large a decent enough bunch I think who got caught up in the trying to be ‘bad’ ultra thing - whatever that is - and tried to tick the boxes of stickers on lampposts, bus shelters.,Graffiti at opposition grounds, flares, chasing much younger fans of Opposition clubs trying to blag flags etc - but came undone when someone shouted something racist,- And despite them posting on social media they knew who it was and it would be dealt with etc etc they suddenly went very very quiet. And as such were deservedly ‘banned’ for not being collectively responsible. A few if not most, of them still go to most games and I’m totally happy with that.
This new wee bunch are considerably younger and don’t appear, to me at least, to be doing any harm ….so far. Which is a big caveat of course.
I think the congregating at the end of this particular game, at the back door and outside the ground, had a lot to do with the club telling them they would get flags, previously confiscated, back at the end of the game. Perhaps not helped by club officials speaking to them rather aggressively - but I hadn’t seen what had just proceeded that. It was pretty eye opening though.
It can be a bit too easy to tar everyone with the same brush -,although I can understand why the club are nervous about such groups given Every one of the previous incarnations of them lets themselves down and ultimately the club down.

The only thing these youngsters do is add an atmosphere. They aren't linked to previous lads, who are mainly decent too. The younger lads bought the flags etc from the older lads. Give these youngsters a chance or will the last person out of Cliftonhill switch the lights off.
We need an atmosphere and future fans to build a base on.
Stranraer let school kids in free I believe. Should we be looking at this too? Or season ticket for a fiver.. I'm sure a local company would sponsor this idea.
Watching yesterday's match on TV the sound of the youngsters cheering was a great aspect of the match viewing experience.

All future (young) supporters should be under a tight veto.
What is wrong with a few young guys singing dancing and enjoying themselves?
How do you cement a support in the future? It's definitely not turning this team away.
Grumpy folk of the past may reminisce of the olden days but football and fitba support has changed. It's no about your grandad taking you down...
