Really shocked and disappointed to hear this news, but hopefully Terry will still be around as a supporter. He's rightly bern lauded here for the huge amount of effort that he's put into the club, but he's also one of the friendliest faces at Cliftonhill- a real top guy. Things must have been bad if someone as reasonable as that feels his relationship with the Board has become untenable.
Do the board plan to thank Terry for his work and perhaps also explain their side of things? I know Jordan was very critical of the lack of that particular brand of communication after his Just Giving efforts last year (top job, that was too) so I'm sure he's on it as I write.

if there was an award for the most silent and anonymous board in Scottish football ours would be clear winners...

The silence is deafening! Anyone feeling guilty?

I see that the club is now advertising the position on their website. The job description is very long and onerous with previous experience required.
Also:
The post holder should hold a Level Four NVQ qualification in Spectator Safety, or be working towards such a qualification.
No mention of pay is made at any point.

I know when Terry couldn't make games he was able to get a fellow safety officer of another club to cover free of charge,
This could be costly for rovers, not just on match days but during the summer when work is required,
It's all going to come straight out of the playing budget too

Job advertised, yet still no "well done and thank you, Terry"
Serious whiff of hypocrisy here. New Board members; same old poor comms!
