We started brightly but were often a bit off the pace the longer the game went. They miss Andy Ryan but in Leitch and Flannigan had guys that caused us problems. We fought back into the game well after falling behind , but the incident with the penalty was farcical and we need to sharpen up in these type of situations in the future- we looked a bit punchless up front and did not create enough to secure a point .Early days yet but a bit of a gap starting to emerge in the league .

I'm left perplexed today. How can we have a go at opposing teams, try and stretch and get in behind them with pace, when Stevenson has none, and lost every battle in the air?.Allied to that,Reilly only shows potential in glimpses. Was like playing with 9 men today. What has Max Wright to do to get in the team, even for a small runout,as know he is just back from injury.Doherty if on from start would have forced Stirling to play deeper. However we were constantly getting done by diagonal balls.Feel we have the makings of a good team there if we stop shooting ourselves in the foot, and get a left back,to allow Jamie to go back into midfield to add competition in there. His performances in a position alien to him are to be commended.

League table beggining to look a little familiar. Worryingly there is not a Berwick Rangers or Brechin City anywhere to be seen in this league.

The first 9 games is always the best gauge but so far playing reasonably well but getting beat by average teams which is a tad worrying. We need a natural left back - I think Manager realises this though it’s unlike we’ll get a permanent signing on this more likely be a loan signing.
The international break might be welcome or not but three defeats on the trot means our next game against the Blue Brazil is going to be crucial on how we shape up after the first quarter.
