With four first choice players - Ryan Devine, Julien Kouame, Adam Watt and new signing Idrissa Sarr - all playing for Vale of Clyde in anticipation of joining that club on loan, the Reserves, with 7 trialists involved, continued their winning run with a 3-1 win at Fullarton Park. Left winger Ricky McGeachin opened the scoring with a spectacular goal - going past three defenders before striking the ball into the far corner from 15 yards, then before the break Kieran Dolan’s powerful left foot shot regained the lead after the home team had equalised. In the second half, Dolan netted with another fine strike to clinch the victory. A solid defensive display, with Paul Sweeney again impressive at left back, while Paul Fee and Jordan Morton did well in midfield. Strikers Dolan and Jamie McVey were a constant goal threat. The three outfield players from Rovers Under 21s all played their part, with winger Craig Taylor outstanding.
Sandberg (Grajauskas); Fernie, McArthur, Greenwood, Sweeney; Fee (Dos Santos), Morton (Delahay); Taylor, McVey (McGuire), McGeachin; Dolan.

Class to hear players are doing well.
Ricky done his part with the u21s before joining Graham’s reserves team.
Also Sub Keeper is part of the u21s Squad also.
Pleased to hear the raving reviews though of the players hoping that the team can push through more local talent.
