No, I don't think they should be allowed in the competition either BUT we are playing them and I say we'll win 2-0.
P.S. remember it's a 1.30 PM kick-off

What happens if it is 0-0, extra time or straight to penalties?

I predict this woeful competition be abandoned this time next year That would be a pity. I like this competition as it gives teams from outside the Premier League a realistic chance of winning a trophy. It gives the fans a chance of seeing teams they don't normally come up against on league business and when we play against B teams we can see emerging Scottish football talent. And this year we have a trophy that's not sponsored by a drinks, betting or a loans company. Instead the Trust Trophy is sponsored by the SPFL Trust and promotes the great work Community Trusts do in their communities through football. I think that is a refreshing change in football sponsorship. The ribbons on the Trophy represent Health, Attainment, Inclusion, Capacity Building and Promotion. Oh and 1-0 Rovers. Ronnie

I respectfully disagree Ronnie. It used to be a good competition for the lower leagues giving them a chance of some silverware when having a mediocre season. It’s the first stage of the Scottish league hijacking the lower leagues with their belief that Colt teams should compete on a weekly basis. How anyone can’t see this is totally beyond me.

Rovers win and a good game.
I also think colts shouldn't be anywhere near this competition but the comp. Itself is a good chance for a L2 team to beat a championship team and win a trophy.

A good all round performance by Rovers. Can’t wait to see our opening goal again, that’s the 35? Yard o.g.
How did they beat Kelty one wonders? Stenny or Cove away in the next round for us.

Despite the age of the opposition this is a morale booster that should give the team confidence in the forthcoming league campaign.

A very good performance all round from the team today, with Wright,Doherty and Roberts all linking up well.A good morale booster heading into next week against Cowdenbeath, where hopefully we build on today's result and kick on from there.

Cove away in the next round after they beat Stenny 4-2 on pens after a 0-0 draw.
