I see from Companies House that Alison McGowan who is chairperson of the supporters trust has resigned from the board of directors of the club.
Far be it from me to say there’s something not right on the board but I think it’s obvious.

Quite alarming.
A hard worker who I had down as future Chairperson.

Sorry to see Alison leaving the board. I was on the BOD with Alison for a year and was impressed by her commitment to the role of being a director and by her determination to always do what was best for the club. Alison also realised the need to stay connected to the fan base and the volunteers and was very hands on around the stadium and not leaving the practicalities of running the club to others. All the best Alison and thanks for all your efforts on behalf of the Rovers.

I wanted to take a brief moment to thank everyone for their support during my time as director. Without the guidance, advice and support from a number of you, my time on the board would have been a little more difficult and far less enjoyable.
It has been an privilege to represent and serve the members of the company and the supporters of this wonderful club for the last 3 years, I’m hoping that I have helped in some small way during my time.
I feel now is the right time for my involvement/collective association with the current board of directors to come to an end and wish everyone associated with the club all the very best for the future.

Oh no! That's another huge loss. Alison was so much more than just the supporters rep on the board.
Let's not forget Scott in all of this too. The work he has done behind the scenes with Alison has been excellent, and I fear that will be lost to the club now too.
All the very best and thank you to both of them.

With Terry's departure and now Alison and Scott, I fear that there's a real issue within the boardroom that's going to cost us dearly as a business. All three were amazing ambassadors for this club. I just hope and pray there's a proper plan in place moving forward.
Massive thanks to all three of you.

I would just like to echo the sentiments already given. We all know the massive contribution Alison and Scott have given selflesssly over the past number of years.
They embraced all who crossed their path with warmth and endeared themselves to so many and hopefully will continue to be among our support.
It was and is always a privilege to assist in a small way, like many, to help the club and for those in particular who give more than most like Alison and Scott.
We have seen such other ambassadors leave the board in the last couple of years who equally have our respect and friendship.
It must have been a very difficult decision to make and I am sorry to see the board lose the talent of those who contributed so much to the challenges the club have faced over the last few years.
I sincerely wish them well and look forward to seeing them in our travels.
