Agree with all of the above. Apart for first 5 minutes, this was a deserved victory. We played some excellent football and the second goal was brilliant. That should restore confidence to the squad.

Superb. Ropey at the start then came into the game. Didn't think we were ever going to score but got the deserved breakthrough then a screamer to secure the win. π After all the positive reviews of refs this season back to normal with a clueless t*t! π

Meanwhile back on planet earth that was brutal in the first half. Terrible game between two terrible teams. Rovers came into it in the last 5 minutes and created a good few chances which set the scene for the second half.
Some difference in the second half. Rovers dominated and Jordan's goal was a beauty.
Cammy did well at the goal but had at least three shaky moments where we rode our luck.
A win is a win though, and a very welcome three points.

Perseverance and commitment finally pays off - was beginning to think at 0-0 another sucker punch late on coming - but the goals finally and deservedly came - a Bobby Charlton special for the second ! Could have got more but got the win - The wife keen to see Brora next week - hopefully when we go I will also enjoy the football !!

Badly needed that win today, agree with comments we could have played all night and not scored but when we did we actually seemed to go up a gear wee bit of belief, second goal was worth the admission price alone. Pick that oot!! Bit of confidence for the treacherous tie at Brora next week.A happy weekend this week tho. Well done the rovers.

Definitely a confidence booster for next week.Scintillating goal from Jordan Morton-what a screamer into the net.Well dug out win that I honestly didn't see coming,as we were on the ropes for first half hour of the game.We gradually worked our way into it and got a richly deserved and needed 3 points.Still think Max Wright deserves a chance up front as provides good link up,allied with his poachers instinct.Just a thought...

Superb performance after a slow start. Total domination for last fifteen of first half and then the entire second. Oh my word: what a goal for the second- one of the best I have seen at Cliftonhill. You could see what it meant to the team at the end: huge result.

A hard fought win in the end with the score line a fair reflection. Jordan Morton take a bow son. We were slow to start but grew into the game. We are a better team when we keep the ball on the deck . Cammy Binnie had a couple of ropey moments coming for crosses when he should stay on his line. Thought the the young guy from Motherwell did well- strong for his age and quite direct which I like. Thought Jamie Leslie and Callum Wilson were outstanding.

Great result. Didn't expect to see three points from this one - especially with McKernon gone. Jordon Morton seems to be well liked by the players and I know he has trained with us for a while, will help having another player with an eye for goal in the squad. Well done Brian and team.

A good performance after a ropey opening half hour or so. Morton looked like he had a point to prove, and prove it he certainly did. Calum Wilson and Kyle Docherty were a constant headache for their defence and there were other decent performances all over the park. A cup victory now seems a realistic prospect.

What the hell, 2-0 to the MIGHTY Albion Rovers!! Yes, I'm on the Red Vino ππbeleter Just Saying Absolutely brilliant performance from our men today. Tough, physical 1st Half. However we completely dominated the 2nd half and could have scored a few more goals. Our 2nd goal was an absolute belter - almost burst the net!! ONWARDS AND UPWARDS INDEED!!!!!

Nothing other than 3 points, would have been an injustice. We were all over them and controlled the game from 20ish minutes and on.
Well done and a crucial 3 points. If we play like that the rest of the season we are safe.
