I'm predicting a bookie bashing 2-1 for Rovers.
Saw the following on their website, presumably the Rovers development squad

At the risk of incurring Prof's wrath I'm going for an Alloa win with our favourite ex-keeper breaking our hearts once again!

At the risk of incurring Prof's wrath I'm going for an Alloa win with our favourite ex-keeper breaking our hearts once again! Got to agree with d7. Alloa and Livi are the teams most will struggle against this season. Would love to see a wee upset though. If we get anything I'll be well pleased!

Dunfermline were runaway leaders last year and we faired ok against them at home. So called bigger/full time/high expectancy sides do not relish the San siro and can find it a bit of a stumbling block. I'm hoping we can take a wee point here but need the luck on our side on the day.

Agree Alloa are looking really strong already this season and it's looking like a 2 way fight for the title with Livi.
Would love to see us sneak it 1-0 or 2-1 however I'll go for a hard fought 1-1 draw.

Capitalising on our chances may be the issue - any sniff of a goal chance must be taken, as I fear we may have limited opportunities. I would go for 2-0 Alloa - hope I am wrong , but the Brechin game is still a horrible recent reminder in the memory. Alloa seem to be this years Dunfermline so anything from this game will be a massive bonus.

For heavens sake, we are only 3 games in and the league is being awarded to Alloa already, get real, far too long to go to make these sorts of pronouncements.
OK Rovers are playing with a forward line this year so bit unpredictable but I will go for a Rovers 3-0 win to stir things up.

A game of 2 halves as they say! A quality 1st half performance followed by 2 deflected goals and an own goal and we lose 4-0.
Bring on St. Mirren!
