Welcome Swansea68. Only thing I’ll add is we refer to the club as Rovers not Albion. Hope to see you at a match soon.

It would be great to see you here and you would be guaranteed a warm welcome. Best pies and bovril in Scotland too. In the meantime, to whet your appetite, there is a Welsh 'Albion Rovers' in Newport with an historical link to our club in Coatbridge: Albion Rovers F.C. g.co/kgs/oiUoYt

Hi thanks for your reply! Great story and am intrigued as to who this swans mad person is? And I’m guessing his fathers name isn’t really Swansea Wayne though?😄 Would like to keep in touch and maybe organise a visit in future? Wayne ( from) Swansea You should know him well - Wayne Davies....

I went to university down in Swansea and used to watch the Swans at the Vetch, on the Northbank. Albion Rovers are a wonderful wee club, and it's always good to hear of people from all over taking an interest in them.

Hello All,
Many thanks for all your replies, you seem a good bunch!
One thing that particularly interssted me was the amount of Albion fans south of the border, and i would love to be involved in that.
Maybe we could all have a chat privately on here, possibly do a couple of games per season?
Thanks again for your warm welcomes and advice etc, means a lot.
Cheers Chaps, Wayne

Hello All, I have been a Rovers supporter since the late 1960s, inheriting this affliction from my Dad who stood at The San Siro in the 40s and 50s. Unfortunately it is a hell of a long way from Penzance in Cornwall where I was brought up so was reliant on buying the occassional programme and waiting until the very end of the results Saturday tea-time. Between supporting the mighty Penzance AFC, the Scotland national team and Albion I have not had many footballing days with a smile on my face! I have recently moved to Southport so will be heading up to vist relatives and to catch some Rovers fixtures...nearly drove up this evening actually but had a last minute event at work. Maybe me and the person from Warrington could come up together. Certainly we are almost legion south of the border!

At the Kelty away match, I was speaking to an Evertonian Rovers supporter, another possibility for the South branch.
