First point here is that all Paisley folk will be out to prove a point after the published findings of THAT survey the other day! Sure they'll agree that Coat-Du-Bridge is the place to be tomorrow LOL On to the game - assuming St. Mirren field close to their strongest line-up then it'll be a stern test for us, even with home advantage. I'd happily settle for any kind of draw and then take our chances in a penalty shoot-out! C'MON THE MIGHTY 'VERS

What survey are you talking ab It was a survey to find out which areas of West Central Scotland were the most deprived Brian. The Ferguslie Park area of Paisley was unfortunately top of the list

I don't know why, but I fancy us to cause a wee upset today. Going to go for us to sneak a 1.0 win. A wee late goal. THAT survey has gave me a confidence boost, cliftonville 8th in the table compared to them being in 1st again. We've nothing to fear. Battle of the deprived. Something has to give.

I have a feeling that it's either a narrow Rovers win or a severe pumping by St Mirren. Therefore I'll plump for a 1-0 win

A 1-1 draw then Rovers to prevail in the shootout.

Somehow I also fancy a draw - would it be straight to penalties with no extra time?

Wow, I'm missing the game of the season so far, no matter the final result! Wanted to come but am hampered with a sore foot, something called Plantar Fasciatis. 3-3 half time - at last we really start hitting the net - great stuff from the Dunlop brothers, surely following Ciaran & Reidy in the loyalty stakes. C'mon the 'Vers !!

Very hard luck to Rovers today, 2 goals up, then we let st mirren back into the game, thats the best Rovers have played since the start of the season, But am still worried about our defense still letting goals in, we should of won that game today.

19 hours ago Nanook said: What survey are you talking ab out? Prof (a while ago, how does Quote work?) It was a survey to find out which areas of West Central Scotland were the most deprived Brian. The Ferguslie Park area of Paisley was unfortunately top of the list :- Prof I thought you were talking about some football report. The deprivation league, for want of a better name, sounds like politics and that is dangerous territory, Prof, someone will come on shortly and say poo poo, not ARFC/football. True story about Ferguslie Park. During a by election in the 80s, I was out leafletting, in Ferguslie Park, and in the distance I could see a dog sitting on the pavement, it's head in a funny position and looking in my direction, so I was very wary. As I got closer it dawned on me that the dog was dead, not only was it dead but it had been dead for some time but nobody had done anything about it! Paisley friends say that Ferguslie Park has come a long way since those times. Think the report is a lot of bollocks, Cliftonhill/Cliftonville always seemed a pretty decent part of town when I lived there. What the country needs is jobs, and some political direction. Oops, just realised I have wandered into that politics stuff again.

Great performance all round from the team today, and if carry on in that vein - we will be ok. However-Ross Stewart - goalkeeper - is our main issue, and needs to be addressed. This is the difference between us staying in this league.
