The manager was watching the game from the stand today- no idea why! It appears that our gaffer was banned from the touchline after something which breached of disciplinary rule 72, which covers remarks that "indicate bias or incompetence on the part of a match official". This was in connection to the Rovers v Edinburgh City match so somewhat understandable! He had a hearing on 31st March according to SFA website but I can't see the outcome anywhere. The manager was absolutely right to call Newlands out for what was the worst of many penalties given against us. There are biased refs out there and it’s not first time. I remember under Paul martin’s team Ref Colvin (who always gave Rovers nothing) was overheard callingthe club “a joke” as he left the park.

Understand his frustration but theres nae point to it as it won't change the attitude of corrupt refs like newland and that shorta*se yesterday. Leave the verbal to us! 🤬

This season was all about safety and will be for the foreseeable future so well done to the gaffer and players.
Can't ever remember having anything close to this many 0-0 games in a season.
Might be time to dust down 'Boys From The 'Brig' to check.
