As Cathie O’ Hare used to say “shower of non triers”.

Extremely lucky it was only 4 - after 25 minutes of playground football again ! Had a bit more endeavour in second half but was lost cause at that stage. We really do lack some experience all round that other teams in this league seem to have - this season has been another Houdini performance but we cannot sustain the Great Escape for ever - some serious thought needs to be looked at this summer as to how we can galvanise the support.

I suppose the question is will there be a Berwick / Cowdenbeath next season?

I wish folk would get real. We've done well with the lowest budget in the league. However...... Time for major overhaul as it feels like the club is surviving, not striving. We made decent profits last season so let's use it next season and get some good signings to help us push up the league. And let's get some real thought into how we develop the club commercially moving forward to allow funds for the team. Cliftonhill could follow similar models to Stennie etc. With a new smaller stand, artificial turf and a bar / coffee shop with parking to bring in daily revenue (as per the Peterhead model). We are through the pandemic now let's move things up a gear. Over 80,000 cars pass by the front of our stadium every day. A fantastic advertisers opportunity, and potential customers for a coffee shop or similar. I realise all this takes major investment. It can be done. Let's make sure we have people with a vision and hard graft to keep Albion Rovers as a senior team next season and into the next decade. One final point.. Stennie gave their fans a free ticket today (and I did see one or two Rovers fans picking up from the Stennie free offer🤔) .. What's our club doing to encourage the future young fans.. Let's bang the drum for the young ones who were first class at Stennie today. And let's start some serious planning for the future.. We don't have handouts from councils and philanthropists next season to fall back on. The future's bright. Let's all be part of making it happen and keep the lights on the hill burn brighter..

Such a dire finish to the season after a great run. Something really has gone badly wrong over the last two weeks.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=3_EGdRL9xmgX rated stuff. That’s as bad as anything from the John Brogan era. Any player that doesn’t want to play for Albion Rovers can leave now as far as I’m concerned.

Agreed. It is so disappointing after some great performances. The team seems to have given up. No fight; no pride; nothing. 9 goals in two games.

Maybe someone's lost the dressing room!

No, I think most of the squad have been 'tapped' by other teams. Just look at the difference between the Annan match and what came after. Attitude has been shocking.

If so after the last two games good riddance. As an aside does anyone know if a millionaire has come into the club after peter's comments or is it an unknown effect of long covid?

Indeed. I am genuinely quite shocked by it, especially after such good performances versus Kelty/Annan/Forfar, etc. We had no forwards in the team v Annan, but we played superbly. But then something happened??? The idea that it was because we had avoided relegation is just not believable: surely there must be at least some professional pride in the squad? I have seen none in the last two matches, among the worst performances I have ever seen from a Rovers team.
