Hard to imagine a worse draw. Franchise United along with the most financially doped clubs in the SFL. Financially for us not great- hopefully the Inverness and Cove games are at home.

Historically we are at least 100 years older than these baby teams - so no bother !!! Not quite, Cove Rangers were formed in the 1920's though they were amateur until 1986 And Livingston were formed in the 1940's as Ferranti Thistle

Terrible group - the only slightly tarnished silver lining for me is that I might get a chance to visit Cove Rangers ground. I somehow managed to miss out on both league games couple of seasons back and the more recent cup game. Noted that ROTR was not impressed - but it's another to tick off the list at least.

Group of Death. For the others as well. Let's stuff the lot of them. ICT away midweek would be a bummer. As per Inverness it’s a Tuesday midweek

Full fixtures for our group as below. Sorry Sam but you’ll have to wait to sample the dubious delights of Balmoral Stadium.
GROUP G Saturday July 9 Albion Rovers v Livingston (3.00pm) Kelty Hearts v Inverness Caledonian Thistle (3.00pm) Tuesday July 12 Albion Rovers v Cove Rangers (7.45pm) Livingston v Inverness Caledonian Thistle (7.45pm) Saturday July 16 Cove Rangers v Livingston (3.00pm) Kelty Hearts v Albion Rovers (3.00pm) Tuesday July 19 Cove Rangers v Kelty Hearts (7.45pm) Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Albion Rovers (7.45pm) Saturday July 23 Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Cove Rangers (3.00pm) Livingston v Kelty Hearts (3.00pm)
IMO the best allocation of venues but certainly would have preferred the trip to Inverness to be a Saturday.

Ludicrous to ask a part time team to travel to Inverness on a Tuesday night. Should have been a Saturday game. No thought. No planning. No consideration. No brains.

2 years in a row that a manager has quit immediately after winning the league for them, one wonders what's going on!

Now officially confirmed Manager, Kevin Thomson, and Assistant Manager, Kevin McDonald, have today tendered their resignations which have been accepted by the club board. Over recent weeks it became apparent that Kevin’s aspirations lay away from Kelty Hearts Football Club. We would like to thank them both for their efforts whilst with the club. This resulted in our promotion to cinch League 1, winning the league by 21 points and reaching the 5th round of the Scottish Cup for the first time in our history. We would like to wish Kevin Thomson and Kevin McDonald all the very best in their careers going forward. The club have begun the process of identifying a new management team, we will update further as the situation develops. keltyhearts.co.uk/kelty-hearts-fc-accept-managers-resignation/

Us Pools fans are reasonably happy with his appointment, with the exception of Falkirk his managerial career is pretty decent.

For those interested I looked at hiring a private plane to get to ICT. The estimate was 5460 Euros from Cumbernauld Airport to Inverness Airport on the afternoon. That’s for 6 passengers and is only one way and doesn’t include transport to Cumbernauld or indeed to the stadium either.
Anybody want to share the costs? I’ll chip in 2% and you can make up the rest!😬
