The price was a bit of a shock when I first saw it but from the info it looks like the gate price will be £14.
So still works out about 4 games "free" via the season ticket which is a pretty reasonable value / gives a bit of leeway if you miss a couple it's still worth it . I might be wrong but I think we have been at about the £180 mark for a while so this was probably due.
Although i do like the book think the barcodes is a great idea as it reduces the chance of me putting my book in the wash. Hopefully, the codes can be sent out a couple of days before each game like the AFCTV codes rather than the game get delayed because we are all searching for an email from august at every game !.

Sales being online only would put me off but the whole thing being electronic is just a no-no for me. To many reliability issues. It'll be pay at the door for me now as long as that is the norm but wonder what'll be the next piece of progress. I really hope we don't go down the road of advance tickets! As for East Fife's prices perhaps they are paying the price of another Darren Young overspend!

What are pay at gate prices? That’s what I’ll be doing this season. Could bad feeling about price rises and online only been avoided if board had consulted fans

Does anyone have details on how youngsters can get hold of free season tickets. I'm sure I read about it here a week or so ago. Asking for a grandfather who's grandson came to matches last year and loved it. He's trying to keep him away from sunny Govan pensioners club.

Peter,
I believe the Community Trust might be distributing some free season tickets to local young people.
Jordan.

I’m sure I’ve saw you walking around Coatbridge with earphones/headphones in head bopping along to music. Is that from your Walkman or do you download music to a phone?

Peter, I believe the Community Trust might be distributing some free season tickets to local young people. Jordan. I wrote on behalf of the Community Trust to the BoD on 10th June offering to pay the club £500 to cover junior season tickets and £800 to pay for sponsoring season book covers and the 50/50 tickets and fixture cards. To date we have had NO reply from them about this. The sale/distribution of any junior free tickets is of course a matter solely for the Football Club as they are required to keep records etc. and ensure an adult would be accompanying a junior. Bit stalker creepy that but so what. I choose what technology I use and some I avoid. I can and in some cases choose not too. I detest the cashless society. It's a pain in the arse. Some won't have the choice. What about them. It's a narrow minded decision that may just bite the club on the arse. Be interesting to compare season ticket sales with previous years particularly pre covid. With regards to music, it's on an MP player separate from my phone so it doesn't get interrupted by call centre guff. Another curse of the modern world! I am a technology geek but it's not all positive and a step forward. This isn't.

I am a technology geek but it's not all positive and a step forward. This isn't. I read your first reply. Why did you edit it to put in “bit creepy stalker that”? It’s a small club in a small town, so only natural if you are walking about the town people will see you. You are very negative when the club wants to try new things to generate much needed revenue for the club. It’s not the jimbo show, I’m sure the club aren’t trying to upset you. But, if we as a club don’t move forward then we get left behind. Out of curiosity, if the paper season tickets are lost/damaged, who covers the cost of getting a new one? Or is this another expense to the club?

Because it is and to be honest none of your business what I do. I don't know what you do and frankly don't care. I don't go round watching what you do and in fact wouldn't even know you if I walked past you.
I am alone in criticising this decision? No. Don't single me out. I think it's a mistake. That's my opinion. I'm entitled to it and will stick to it. It isn't progress. It's a narrow minded, ill thought out idea which may backfire. Someone answer this from somewhere, the club or whatever. What if you don't have a smartphone. Plenty don't. Anyone?

You have been the most vocal about it and generally very negative with everything that the club tries to do differently.
I see you are using this very website via mobile, so you must have an phone capable of being able to log in and out. I am sure it would be the exact same as logging in to get your code to gain access to the game. Don’t need to be a tech head to use it.
I’m sure most on here that are moaning about it will be logged in to the website via their mobile phones…
