Brian Reid, in above conversation, says we are going to win the Scottish Cup.
What about the League then?

Think I may have misread the report.
Don't get me wrong I would take the Scottish Cup, esp after being robbed at Ibrox, I had convinced myself our name was on the Cup that season for sure.
Very encouraging so far, think a Tuesday night in Inverness will be a real test, a trip too far perhaps.
Bit of a break before first league game which is good.

Managers right - one the way home listening to BBC Scotland football "coverage" there was little mention of our result despite it being by far the biggest "shock" of the day. When Leanne Chrichton eventually pointed it out the whole narrative was around Kelty Hearts - not about the team who every bookie has finishing last achieving a good result over last years champions and having 2 single goal defeats against a premiership side and a Championship side.
Anyone else think the whole atmosphere around New Central Park was a bit weird on Saturday? Seemed to be none of the confidence or swagger that we saw last year and that seemed to be reflected in their teams performance. Crowd was also terrible and the young team were nowhere to be seen. Has the "ambitious" Kelty bubble burst already!

Decent highlights, despite the slightly stilted commentary; only thing they missed was the hissy-fit from Austin when he didn't get the free-kick he was so blatantly angling for midway through the second half.
Also, the magnificent mane of Blair Malcolm was head and shoulders over the scruffy mess atop the dome of that McNab fella, so Rovers clearly won the war of the manbuns as well as the three points.

A great result, even if the offence which caused the penalty was clearly outside the box.

Enjoyed the commentary, the guy was taken by surprise that his side were not pummeling Rovers.
Says something for the fitness level that our two goals came in the last ten minutes, impressive.
Penalty in or out, touch and go, offence started outside the box, agree with that much, cool penalty.
Hope Sonkur shouted nutmeg as he put the ball through the keeper's legs.
The swagger did seem to be missing for sure, when we played them up there, beat 3-1 in an pretty even game, everything went for them.
Onwards and upwards.

I think the issue with Kelty this now is the owner has a touch of Tam Fagan when it comes to team selection which was enough to force Kevin Thomson’s hand.

Very small crowd: where were all their fans? Watching Dunfermline? PS, about time we got a decision in our favour...

I think the bubble may be popping at Kelty
A dreadful league cup group stage followed by a dreadful start to the league,
They have now lost one of their top players in Thomas Reilly to West of Scotland Premier league team Darvel
Reilly previously dropped from Forfar in League 1 down 2 divisions to the lowland league to join Kelty, now he's dropped from Kelty in League 1, down 3 divisions to join Darvel in the West of Scotland Premier
Once upon a time he was on loan at rovers from St Mirren as a 17 year old back in 2011/12 season
