What is frustrating - apart from a goal poacher - is the fact that like Dumbarton last week this was an average East Fife outfit who we should have been capable of taking care of. The league has no super team this season - we have nothing to fear apart from fear our self ! Lets hope we can keep our chins up and we will get the rub of the green soon !

Our team inability to score from 2 yards out is costing us big time. Not that EF were any better than his they just hit the net.

Too early to panic but please allow me to be the first person to do so.
0 points and 1 goal from 3 league games does not bode well.
I'm assuming the manager knows about our dearth of goals and has been unable to sign anyone to bolster that department.

Time for board to back manager with money for a striker. With a good poacher up front we could have had nine points from three matches. Not zero. To not do this doesn't bear thinking about the consequences for the manager and the club. And I do think we have a decent team and we can and will beat Bonnybridge next week. I honestly do. If Stranraer can beat them so can we.

Agree with all the comments re striker. The team are playing cohesively and with commitment. I think by mid season we will be mid table. Keep the faith.

Terrible result today!! The team needs as striker ASAP, the chances are there for a striker to take. Like Peter said the BOD need to fund the manger to get a striker in before it’s to late and the club are gone. Chris what does Peter driving have to do with anything? Peters points are bang on, the club have a person working for the club to get sponsorship & I am sorry she ain’t doing very well. Yea times are hard but if you work hard you will get the rewards. Do I know the club finance’s Chris? At the end of the day the team need to start winning or it’s curtains & that would be very, very sad, and I hope it doesn’t happen.

Yeah we need a striker. Until we have one stick Sean Fagan up front. OK, he’s no Denis Law but with his strength and attitude he’ll unnerve defenders and he’ll produce chances. Bit of a Joe Jordan like attitude.

Hopefully next week Bonnyrigg underestimate us and we can spring a result. I see they scored in the 97th minute yesterday.
I think if we remain pointless next week then the other teams will view us as there for the taking and a potential Berwick/Brechin/Cowdenbeath.
It's early in the season to be talking about crucial games but next weeks is.

Prof, not negative just saying how it is & after watching them it’s poor!! £10,000 for a striker🤔🤔 now that would be something, management team have contacts as been in the game, so why not tap into them? We would have got a development fee for Doc unless I am wrong, so what’s the club done with that? At the end of the day if results don’t start turning around, the club is in bother!! Not negative, it’s facts. Maybe some just see it as a social club, there big day out to get a few jars, but to a lot of folk the club means more to them than that. I will let you prof come back with a sober response 👍👍

I am sure the BOD, like most if not all boards before them, put the maximum they can afford to the players’ budget. As fans it’s easy to forget the other expenses they have got to meet, the biggest being the upkeep of the stadium. The reality is that we attract crowds like yesterday’s 253… half of what our rivals like Elgin and Stirling get. We probably sell just over 100 season tickets, a fifth of Bonnyrigg’s who we play next week. Unfortunately, the directors can’t make money appear out of thin air for a striker or anything else for that matter.

Our two strikers yesterday Dolan and McGrath looked way too lightweight- a real pity as Charlie Reilly is providing dome real quality crosses.
I think talk of the Board putting up money for a striker is pie in the sky 1. At this stage of the season all proven goalscorers are signed up with other clubs 2. The club does not have the money
Our best bet is getting a striker on loan or alternatively delving the lower levels and pluck someone out Tam Fagan style. Either way there are no guarantees.
