They are already banned in the top flight in Scotland for years Nope, they were banned but that was dropped when the SPFL was formed. At the moment Livi have the only plastic pitch in the Premier. There’s a complete ban in the English Premier and English Football Leagues.

Kilmarnock also have a plastic pitch in the top flight 16 of the 40 SPFL grounds have plastic pitches (Clyde ground share with Hamilton and QP share with Stenhousemuir)

I forgot about both
Grass pitches are favoured by everyone however they are becoming less common, most young players play on them every week at youth level and amateur
