I see that Ashton United of the National League North have approached Man City requesting a 28 day loan of Erling Haaland while the EPL is on a break for the world cup. Haaland is Norwegian and they didn't qualify. Time for Brian Reid to see what Scotland strikers or indeed those of other non-competing international sides or any player not participating might fancy keeping match fit for the duration?

I am sure some Premier League strikers may wish to stay match fit during the shutdown - how about Alfredo Morelos - if he can stay on the pitch? In all seriousness clubs in Scotland should explore all avenues available as this is a unique occurrence in the football calendar.

Ashton united are in the same division as my hometown and favourite English club Warrington Town, The Northern Premier League Premier Division. Cracking publicity stunt by the club, won't happen but will give the club publicity

On a semi serious note - Im not sure what scope there is for us to open up the bar under the stairs for the Stirling Uni game.
The games are on free-to-air and kick-off times are 1pm and 4pm so a chance to get people in early for the first game, spend some money and then maybe take in the second half of the second game after a Rovers victory.

I don't think we have a license to sell alcohol but think it's a great idea.

Leigh Griffiths?
Come play till December, in January move to a higher, but not better, club.
Him and charlie together, what a prospect.
We would have the league won by December 31.
