Yet another great performance, credit to everyone for that. Very well taken goal by Callum. Looked like you needed to be taken out by a sniper in order to get a penalty today but eventually the ref gave in. Charlie's kick was well saved but 1-0 will do for me.
Stranraer contributed hee haw and Rovers dominated from start to finish.
The half time photo opportunity worked really well, good to see loads of folk participate.
Jack's kicking today was brutal but he made a couple of handy saves.
I know the turnstile operators are volunteers and well done to them for that. The club could help them out by publicising the season ticket number in advance and on a scruffy note outside the ground. Wouldn't take much effort.
Good start to the weekend all round.

Another step in the right direction. The guys worked as a unit and thoroughly deserved the 3 points - a peach of a goal that will figure in the goal of the season awards at the end of April. Penalty although a miss would be better tagged as a great save from the keeper but would have made it more comfortable on the nerves if it had been scored! A great crowd today and the newbies were hopefully impressed enough by the team's efforts to return especially when the Premier league is in temporary closedown. There was a bit of bitter pettiness from a Stranraer defender at the end who stormed off refusing handshake of Blair Malcolm - the cries of poor loser from the crowd may allow him to reflect on this! The boys from the brig are back in town!

I actually thought we rode our luck a wee bit first half but much better second and deserved winners. Callum's goal was a peach, lovely composed finish. Charlie was a handful all afternoon, shame he couldn't cap it off with a goal. Got away with it a bit last week with the pen but keeper got much more on it today and decent save. 4 points off bottom and 4th. League is so tight, I don't know whether to look up or down, I can't see anyone getting cut adrift this year.

Great result. Think our goalie had his boots on the wrong feet in the first half, but good safe pair of hands overall. Really good save from the Stranraer goalie from Reilly’s well struck penalty. Impressed with the sub,Dolan when he came on. Made his presence felt and seemed good in the air up front which is one of the many things we lack. Looking forward to the Stirling Uni game, though not without some trepidation as they are playing really well in the Lowland League.

I thought the team thoroughly deserved their win today. We look a lot more solid at the back with our tall defenders. Only one gripe today. Who the hell is responsible for issuing the crowd attendance. There is absolutely no way there was 327 people there today. The crowd was at least in the mid 500's. Personally I find it embarrassing and could have negative effect on potential advertising sponsorship as who's going to advertise at a ground where a minimum of people are going to see it.

Hi the crowd was actually 372 not sure why the 327, if you feel like you have an issue with the crowd you are more than welcome to come down to the turnstiles just after 3. We do have an electronic counter there and this was the number that was through the gate.

Well done lads. Magic. I’ve see us play better this season and lose. A tight match as thought- Rovers had most of the ball in the first half but I thought Stranraer had the better chances. We dug in well after scoring a beauty and to be fair our game management towards the end was actually quite good barr a couple of flurries from Stranraer that never came to anything. The result was everything though!

Thought that was a fairly tight, entertaining and uncontroversial game today (if the participants had all stopped moaning there would have been no cards flashed at all), with Rovers just edging it on general performance. Both keepers did themselves proud, but for Rovers there wasn't a failure out there - if the kicking from Leighfield is the biggest negative we had then I've got no complaints. Well done to all the Rovers players and staff, enjoy your Saturday night!
Can't wait to see the halftime photo in all its glory, and a touching tribute to Al Baird at the beginning - thanks for everything Al.
Looking ahead, the next two games will be pivotal in how the season will turn out; progression in the cup could provide some much needed cash (yes I know, we'd draw Clyde away, regardless of whether Clyde are still in the competition or not), and the visit to Forfar could yield either a one point or seven point cushion over one of our close rivals (I'd prefer the latter please) at the bottom end. My feeling is that we have the momentum and grit to produce two successful performances, but gut feeling means hee-haw in the grand scheme. For tonight though, we can look forward with quiet confidence.

Great result and performance gave us a well deserved win. Can't even moan about the ref much so will let him off the hook for once. Only gripe of the day as mentioned elsewhere, can someone sort out the pa system. Can't hear anything in the west end of the stand. Regarding crowd it was certainly higher than 372. Numbers through the gate no doubt accurate so must be a lot of complimentaries, etc.

Excellent result. Have seen us play better and lose. This league will go to the wire both at the top and bottom. Great crowd and I don't care what system they have in place at the turnstiles we are not all idiots it was closer to 500. Big shout out to Connor and the lads for collection for the foodbank before the game. Well done lads.

Indeed, that was the biggest crowd of the season. Well over 372, given that the stand seats hold over 400, and it was obvious to all that the crowd was well over that figure. Complimentaries, and those entering via the Coatdyke end: are those all counted? Anyway, something is not quite right with the crowd figures, and I would like this to be addressed by the club somehow.

Great result. Lifts the pressure and gives the team some breathing space. We can actually go into next league game knowing a defeat wouldn’t send us back to the bottom. Pressure is now on Bonnyrigg,Annan and Forfar.

No room for complacency, important our focus is on next week’s cup clash. Boys were excellent today. Fought for every ball; didn’t give up until the final whistle.
Thought the applause for Alistair was very touching and fitting.
Onwards.

Just watched the match back. Big Sonks is a superstar and Callum Wilson's goal was class. Though Kieran Dolan did a fair bit when he came on too.
Great game management from the team towards the end too.
Next weekend will be tough. Saw Stirling Uni twice through covering the Shire and Bo'ness.
They are basically full-time and have been excellent in the LL.
