One to take on the chin plenty more games left to play .I personally don’t see why some are criticising the clubs board when they do everything they can for the club not sure if we could have a better board. Regards to the manager what other manager could do a better job in terms of limited resources and he’s managed to keep us up comfortably in the last 2 seasons. The remit for this club each season is to stay up I believe we will with Brian in charge

Rovers normally play well on artificial surfaces. Here's hoping we serve up a Christmas Cracker. And not a Christmas Pudding😂 Annan 1 Rovers 3 Peter Just a genuine question Peter. Do we really play better on artificial pitches? Ronnie

Peter it's the season of good will You need to forgive and forget they scored 5 with breakaway chances Thank god we have reilly though he should pass it more he's right up there with sturgeon and markel On a serious note I would sack the manager with immediate effect

Me too. I cannot believe some think we stayed up comfortably the last 2 seasons. We only stayed up because other teams were worse. There is no more dire team than us this season.

Strange game last night, could quite possibly have went in at half time with the game done and dusted and then a second half shocker which is probably the worst display from the guys I’ve witnessed in the games I’ve watched this season.
Obviously it’s the managers fault tho’ I mean he was through on goal two or three times with only the keeper to beat and failed miserably and not forgetting the chance to score in a near open net from six yards out only to blooter the ball over the terracing roof and then in the second half his defensive display was pretty poor, oh and his passing overall was dismal.
There were a few of our guys out of sorts last night. The defence and keeper looked a bit out of sorts right from the off with the Annan No 10 dominating nearly every high ball. All our threat in the first half was through the pace of Charlie Reilly but credit to the Annan boss who realised that and then changed his system to nullify that.
From the games I’ve witnessed this year we are far better than that second half performance and despite the usual calls for it being the managers fault I think it’s upto the players…. oh and the 30 goal a season striker that Santa will surely bring us at Xmas

The thing is, Rovers have not been dire all season, which is why I was so shocked by the second half performance last night. Generally, the team has played well, but not having a forward has cost us dearly. Look at last night: could easily have been 5-0 to us at half time. Second half, the entire team seemed totally defeated from the whistle to the end.

As said we really should have been out of sight in the first half. We desperately need a Centre Forward. Charlie once again ran past defenders with ease but just wasn't his night in front of goal.

Missed the match, comrades, so can anybody tell me what went wrong with our usually fairly solid defence in that nightmarish second half? Hopefully something that can be sorted out, toot sweet.

More of a capitulation than a defeat. For me it's increasingly beginning to look like this is our last dalliance with Division 2 football.
I was surprised that a lot of fans whitewashed the Stirling Uni cup defeat. For me there was some glaring warning signs from that match both on and off the pitch.

I think in retrospect, the warning signs were there in the first 15min of the game. Annan had several good deliveries into our box that were not handled particularly well by our defence and just needed a killer touch to convert. Thereafter, we completely took over and I can't remember another attack of note from the hosts in that half. For me, they started the 2nd half exactly the same way as the started the first - only this time their good deliveries were converted and we were 3-1 down before the half-time teas were consumed. Bottom line - as it has been been all season - we didn't capitalize on our 1st half domination and paid the price as our opponents inevitably came back from half-time with their managers words ringing in their ears.

We are 6 points off the play offs with a game in hand. Yes it's slightly concerning we are bottom and yes we need someone to finish off the chances, but to think we are miles off it is nonsense. A bit of luck in a few of the games and we are miles up that table.
