Seems to be a lot of New Rovers posters on the forum recently with some strong opinions. Everyone is an expert it appears..... Right so whats your point if there are new posters or not , new posters that are pointing out the blatantly obvious need of progression rather than a sarcastic comment from you at least there are new people posting there opinions making suggestions on trying to help our club improve progress and with great potential to prosper I'm guessing these opinions are putting your nose out of joint because I don't see you making any suggestions in fact doesn't seem to be a lot at all Sarcastic? Who ....little old me?

calum I can't believe or get my head around why some people are knocking back good ideas especially from your side of being the media team with social media now being the largest platform to attract lots of new viewers especially with high quality content so my question is still why are people including some fans scared of change or progression which is confusing the fact being so many say they want change but then if you try and offer a suggestion or solution for progression the same ones instantly shut you down and say you can't do that , we either want to progress with the times or we get left miles behind Even though I’m immensely disappointed my offer was rejected out of hand by Mr Nugent the offer will always remain and I would be more than happy to present to a meeting of the board of directors as I do run a social media company What social media company do you run Calum ? Cheers Tee.

I am astounded and dismayed at the criticism being levelled at our media team.
The majority of the group of young guys are learning the ropes in the trade and are doing all they can to create professional content with limited resources.
Indeed, Ben and Taylor have actually got work in the industry as a result of their work with the club and are very highly skilled. How insulting to have people hiding behind pseudonyms on Twitter attempting to undermine their pro bono efforts for the Club.
The team are volunteers. They gain nothing but experience and opportunity. Reading the drivel on here must really make them consider packing it in & walking away…I wouldn’t blame them.

I completely agree jordan and a lot of it is by so called fans as I said on an earlier post media lads do a great job and I think any ideas which members of the media team have should definitely be considered as it will only raise the profile of the club on social media which can only be a good thing.

I think they are doing a grand job: ignore the garbage. [P.S. Even an 'old fart' {quote} like me does a bit in the programme: will I get slagged off for that now, I wonder? Am I 'professional enough'? David Higgins

El bunnet on twitter can sh#t in his head attire imho. The SM team are doing a good job. Video is fine. However, we do need help with the website strategy and content as it still doesn't mention new signing and needs a seamless link to our other social media offerings. Even a link to the twitter feed would keep the website fresh. If chap offering help to the team is the same one who edits the programme, I'd personally bite his hand off. We are in real danger of the criticism on twitter becoming the story instead of the fantastic signing we've just made. We need a clear direction from the board on social media contacts at the club and club messages and responses being made. And thanks to the guys who work tirelessly for nothing, spending their own money on fuel etc., to produce current content.
Remember many hands make light work.

Hi Peter,
The website mentions Joe’s signing and there is a link to both our Facebook and Twitter at the bottom of the home page…as is par for the course on most ‘corporate’ websites.
Jordan.

The latest interview with Kyle Fleming on the website and socials is another good offering by the volunteer team.

I'm still wondering why 'El Bunnet' was slagging off the media team on twitter: what could his connection be? As Toyah Wilcox used to sing, 'It's a Mystery'...Lots of Everton stuff I noticed: is he a fan of Johnny McIlhatton, I wonder?

Our club would struggle without volunteers and that is most certainly extended to lads who do the media - young lads who give up their time freely to keep us updated. As special mention to Ben Kearney, a young man who has travelled all over to bring us post match interviews, updates on social media and highlights of matches. Really enjoyed the interview and goal scoring package with you young Joe.

Even though I’m immensely disappointed my offer was rejected out of hand by Mr Nugent the offer will always remain and I would be more than happy to present to a meeting of the board of directors as I do run a social media company Personally I think that's a no brainer especially having the vast social media knowledge which you have it should be grasped with both hands How do you know he has a "vast social media knowledge" do you know Calum?

I see the twitter page for it has been deleted why is that?

Sure the company was recently rebranded as @oorproductions twitter.com/oorproductions?s=21&t=wFDfcnJJlA4wGkwAx956uQ it was originally rebranded as Ness Flicks which was then rebranded to Oor Productions as to prevent any legal complications down the line - with regards to El Bunnet I have around 2k followers once this was brought to my attention I immediately blocked the account as I don’t want to be associated with those online bullies

I’d assume it’s because I said I run a social media company (Toffee Army and assist with a few others)

No going to lie calum it seems a bit dodgy that you and your pals want to be part of the social media team, get told no then this account (where there is a link to you) starts to slate them online, along with a whole load of new users comming on the messageboard praising you, don't you think
