Has the club ever explored a supporters wall, where fans can purchase bricks and have their names, kids, past/present relatives, etc located at Cliftonhill? With so much history at the club, you'd think there would be a good uptake. Seems to be quite popular at many clubs. Arbroath seem to have promoted theirs well, and this video of Brian Cargill speaking of not only the financal impact but how something like this can bring a club together, is pretty impressive. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sK8Bemn1dIArbroath offer 3 Brick options £50 – White, £100 – Maroon, £250 – Gold Brick. Considering the video mentioned 1000 bricks sold (as of Dec '20) and an estimate of the ratio of bricks of their wall between the categories, could have brought in anywhere from 100-150K, depening on costs. - www.arbroathfc.co.uk/supporters-wall-call-for-bricks/Maybe the funding could be used in conjunction with a proposal for a grant to develop a stand and have the supporters wall part of it?

Great idea but watch when talking about how much finance it can bring you have some on here who will hit you with sarcastic comments possibly the likes of its a no brainer and also along the lines of because you mentioned what it could bring try and be snarky saying that it's crazy figures and you'll also unfortunately get the no we can't do that it'll cost to much etc and ones who flat out don't want it . I personally think it's a great idea and it's another way to bring in much needed income.

Sounds like a good idea, and if it works elsewhere why not at Cliftonhill?
When you come in, if you turn left, near the comps gate, there is a small garden and a wall with plaques for 'Supporters who have passed this way', think that is the wording. Think this area should be left as it is with the supporters wall somewhere else.

As someone who got a brick from Blackpool Pleasure Beach as a Christmas present, with signed certificate, I did think this was a great idea. I'm sure there will be a stonemason within the men's group who meet in the club once a week who'd make a real go of this project. Love the idea. Oh, the added revenue from the Blackpool brick is that it will cost me n my wife £18 just to see the aforementioned brick inside the Pleasure Beach. Over and above the cost to purchase it.
