There could be twenty of them, but makes no difference. 'Shares' is the drawback, and no-one would do it while an 'un-named majority shareholder' shouts 'poll vote' to everything designed to help our club. FFS. Ain't happening. Ever.

Fagan isn't interested in Rovers. He isn't getting any glory from his position. Therefore the only obvious reason for holding onto the shares is potential to cash in. So yes there is a chance.....

To be fair to Wrexham the fans ran and kept the club going, raising loads of money in the process, after being left in the mire by a previous owner / club killer who only ever wanted to redevelop the ground for other purposes. Unfortunately in this day and age ordinary people doing extra ordinary things in support of their local football team / community isn't seen as newsworthy. However if someone is a "celebrity" or an influencer (whatever one of them is) then it appears the cameras are always on hand. I don't begrudge Wrexham their time in the spotlight, I just hope that they aren't left in the lurch again should the two North Americans pull out. From a personal point of view I grew up watching Wales internationals at Wrexham but now all us gogs (north Walians) have to travel to Cardiff so it would be nice if they rebuild the Kop and perhaps play some "lesser" games up here. I realise this has no bearing on Rovers🙂 |
