The Supporters Trust are delighted to offer fans a unique opportunity to celebrate 140 Years of Albion Rovers with the Third/Anniversary shirt for 2022/23 season which features a stylish graphic stripe design across the torso. The kit is a nod to the kit from 1882 which saw the team wear a royal blue shirt, white shorts and royal blue socks. The shirt has an embroidered version of club badge on the left breast with 1882-2002 text printed underneath.
The auction will run start on 24th February and end on 23rd April. Shirts are player issued/match worn at various points throughout the 2022-23 season including but not limited to Forfar Athletic (Cinch League 2), Glasgow University (Scottish Cup) 22nd October 2022 and East Fife (Cinch League Two) 12th November 2022.
As the shirts featured season and were player issued / match worn, they have full SPFL numbering and sleeve patches. All shirts will have been laundered but may have some slight marking due to the nature of them being worn throughout the season.
We are delighted to announce that the surplus funds generated by the auction will be donated to Maggies and St Andrews Hospice.
The starting bid price of £25 is inclusive of 2nd class postage via Royal Mail (if required) to addresses within the United Kingdom.
A mandatory 2% fee will also be applied to the final winning bid amount, this fee is being applied to cover payment card processing costs. Passing this fee on to the winning bidder allows us to increase the value of the donation to Maggies and the St Andrews Hospice.
Shirts will be dispatched/available for collection week commencing 22nd May 2023.
