We’ve been in communication with Bonnyrigg Rose about changing the fixture on Saturday 25th March 2023 to avoid a clash with Scotland v Cyprus.
Unfortunately, despite a willingness from our end, Bonnyrigg Rose declined the opportunity to move the game to another date.

Good of the club to look at alternative’s for such a big game. Poor of Bonnyrigg not being accommodating towards the idea though.

All the more reason for our lads to make sure THEY are the ones to end up in the playoffs which , without any malice, I hope will result in their returning to whence they came.

At the end of the day both teams have to agree on the change. One of them hasn't so let's move on.
I get that a lot of Rovers fans attend Scotland games and for them I feel the dilemma.
Personally I don't have a huge pull to see Scotland play Cyprus and so whilst wishing the national team well I will be at Cliftonhill.

This echoes the rudeness I discussed with the directors of another club recently, who were treated very poorly at Bonnyrigg. If this doesn't get us riled, nothing will. Get them back to the juniors where they belong. Unbelievable.

Unfortunately from a Bonnyrigg point of view they’re going to want less home fans being there for such a crucial game which is probably why they aren’t cooperating. I love watching Scotland but it’ll be me and the wee man at Cliftonhill that day. Too big a game to miss.

I hope we are geared up for this match because I expect 400 Rosey Posey fans at Cliftonhill for this match... And maybe more. They all eat pies and need hot drinks too. Programmes will be sought after too. Could be the most important match for both teams in years.

I think that Bonnyrigg probably felt Saturday gives them a better advatage with them able to get more away support in place rather than Friday night. Agree that this is massive and whatever happens in between games this fixture still the proverbial 6 pointer

Disappointing Bonnyrigg didn’t agree. Ronnie

Think they should just reschedule the Scotland game now! 😄

Following our game being called off this morning, I went along to the Stirling v Bonnyrigg Rose game @ Forthbank.
It was a very, very tight affair - Rose are not the outfit we picked apart in January.
Our game against them on the 25th March is going to be a pivotal one that could define our season. I’d urge everyone to get along and give the boys their full support.
Where we are in the league doesn’t reflect the endeavours - and talents - of our squad. There’s still plenty of time to build momentum and finish in a solid position that we can build on ahead of 2023/24’s campaign.
All hands to the pump!

Please note that Bonnyrigg will definitely bring hundreds of fans so let's ensure we are suitably stocked (pies programmes etc. ) for their arrival.
Were there many of their fans at Stirling?
