Wish I'd followed my instinct and put a tenner on Rovers @3/1. Had a feeling but bottled it. No way a team that has won three away games in three months by four clear goals is going to finish bottom. Hope they feel ten feet tall in midweek and do the business and finish the night in seventh place. Can't wait!

Our away form has been quite sensational at times this season and this tops the lot. We have a TEAM in there and we should not be where we are, but this league has been cruel to us at times this season. This result should propel us forward and we should fear no one. This group of lads have the nucleus to take us forward but it will be difficult to keep them all there - lets enjoy the next few weeks and ensure our safety and future.

Loved every minute of that today. Need to carry that level of performance into the next 2 home games this week. Every player first class today.

Man, what a day to have a stinking hangover; beginning to suspect that Rovers only turn it on in my absence as the last victory I saw in the flesh was Stranraer in November.
If there is one team that we have been overdue to put to the 🗡️ it is that mob, having been undeservedly mugged twice this season (possibly even three times, didn't see the game on Hogmanay but could easily believe it) by them.
So looking forward to seeing any footage from the game, and well done to all involved. Reilly must be close to top scorer in the division, if not the SPFL, and good to see Bevan getting some more goals. I had feared that Malcolm would be a big miss but clearly the guys did the business in his absence.
So, pretty please we can win the next two games and earn ourselves some much needed breathing space. Enjoy it folks, you deserve it today.

Absolutely by far one of the best matches I've ever been at. Told all the Dumbarton supporters that we'd be 4 nil up at half time. Wish I was a betting man 😂 We could and should have been at least 6 nil up at half time though had it not been for some outstanding saves by their keeper. I've been saying it all season we were due to give teams a thumping, and that's a third away thumping we've dished out. I've also been saying that Elgin and Stranraer will be bottom two.
Well done gaffer, backroom team and all the players. I tip my hat to you all. And Ayrton Sonkhur I did tell you to header a goal today... Not in our own net 😂😂
Rovers.. The most feared team in the Division.

I make that our first win at the Rock since 10 March 2001 when John McVeigh’s team won 4-1

Unreal result. We were due a win against them . Just shows there really isn’t much between the teams in the league. Well done to all the staff and players really enjoyable afternoon

Great to come away from New Boghead (with the emphasis on bog) with a result and what a result. Shows what we can do on our day and when we take our chances. All our goals were crackers and hope there's some highlights. Brilliant!

Couldn’t make due to some last minute family stuff but what a result. My Dumbarton supporting friends have been quick to comment and to a man said the Rovers were unplayable today especially in the first half where it could as easily been 6-7
Pity the other two teams around us dug out draws but we can put them to bed if we win the next two games

Gutted that myself and the wee man couldn’t make it along today due to personal reasons and what a game we missed! Been trying desperately to find the highlights but nothing on YouTube yet. Results like today just go to show that this squad should be sitting much higher up in the league. Let’s carry that same performance onto Tuesday night and turn over Stranraer again!

I make that our first win at the Rock since 10 March 2001 when John McVeigh’s team won 4-1 That's right, if memory serves it was our first visit after it opened and Martin Harty missed a penalty for a hat trick (someone else knocked in the rebound), and I missed that game as well so I've never seen us win there. Saw plenty of times where we played them off the park and somehow lost one nil, usually thanks to Kevin Nicoll as his ten colleagues were lost. Also, nobody mention Cammy Melville ...

Great performance and incredible result.
First time I’ve *ever* seen us win there in my 17 years of supporting Rovers.
Special mention to the travelling fans - great scenes at the end.
