My dad's a Clyde fan. On Saturday they only had 3 substitutes. On top of that they had 2 men sent off so they might find themselves a bit short of bodies for their next match! Gemmell wasn't in the squad so I presume he is still injured.

Clyde could face the prospect of being unable to field any of the players they brought in during the recent transfer window. The sanction could be applied after the club admitted that it accidentally missed a payment to HMRC. A statement on the club website revealed: “The club has inadvertently breached rule E29 of the SPFL by missing a November HMRC payment of £3,320.20. “In the event of a breach of rule E29, clubs are precluded from fielding players registered after the breach unless subsequently approved by the board of the SPFL. “The club is in communication with the SPFL whose Board will consider this matter at its meeting in the coming week. “The club is fully up to date with all HMRC liabilities.” During the window Clyde signed striker John Gemmell from Albion Rovers, former Livingston midfielder Ross Millen and Annan Athletic forward Jamie Watson and brought in defender Scott McMann on loan from Hamilton Accies. ....at a meeting at Hampden, SPFL chiefs ruled "all breaches were inadvertent and had arisen as a result of extraordinary circumstances affecting the club and one of its directors at the relevant time."
A £2,500 fine was suspended until the end of the 2016/17 season and will come into force should the club break any further rules.
Clyde will now be able to play further January arrivals Jamie Watson, John Gemmell and Scott McMann in Saturday's game with Berwick.

Just spoke to my faither who was at the game yesterday. Seems Gemmell is already on his way to being a crowd favourite as you would expect. As well as his goal he hit the post and on another day could have have a hat trick apparently. He doesn't look fully fit at the moment but why would he be, he's been injured and didn't get much chance to play at the Rovers in recent times. He got booked too which you could have put money on I guess!
Pleased for the big man.

Was at the game myself d7, must admit it was a hard game to watch, both teams toiled and produced very little in the way of good football. John took his goal well and missed a howler, and looked unfit and a bit heavy. He as you say got his usual booking for his usual antics. I think he has found his level and the Clyde fans certainly took to him.
