Benefit Match 22nd October St Rochs v Clydebank Jimmy McGrory Park Former Albion Rovers favourite Tj McCluskey was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and had a big life saving operation a month ago happy to say he is on the slow process to recovery and is out of football/work for a good time.To help out St Rochs are organising a benefit match for the lad and hope that even if you can't attend yourself spread the word and let's get a good gate for TJ.

really sad news for such a promising young footballer. His goal up at Montrose was a real catalyst for our promotion push.

Really terrible news ,and for such a young guy, hope he can make a good recovery that will allow him to get his life back on track. The only annoying thing for myself is that the benefit game is a Saturday afternoon and we are home to Peterhead and i won't be able to attend , just a pity it wasn't a Sunday ,i really hope he gets a good turnout to help him with his recovery .

Think that`s a great idea. Crohn`s doesn`t just come on suddenly (I worked alongside a guy who had it)maybe it was a reason why he wanted to return to the Juniors. anyway, hope he gets well and fit again soon and yes, his late winner at Montrose was the catalyst for our Championship push.
