Enjoyed my first ever meeting very well ran and very well attended.
I’ve probably never had much to say about the BOD in a good light on the forum but thought the 4 members that attended tonight answered any questions asked to the best of there ability and gave us some honest answers into the future and what happened last season.

Well attended and constructive meeting.
There’s a lot of love out there for Albion Rovers - let’s channel that and work together.

At the meeting we confirmed the renewal of trust sponsorship on the arm of the jerseys next season of £2500 plus VAT and also agreed to donate £2000 to the Squad Fund. Hopefully this will give Sandy Clark a wee boost in his efforts to put a winning team on the park.

I agree with what's been said already about last night's meeting, it was a very constructive meeting and a great turn out. Thanks to the Directors for answering my questions and everyone else's openly and honestly. Alison done a great job hosting the meeting. The new Directors seemed very approachable and stated they will communicate with the fans more often . Look forward to future meetings. As Alan Benton said last night - the only way is up !

I wasn’t at the meeting but genuinely pleased it was positive. The club has lacked real leadership at the top for sometime now and it is one if the reasons we are in our current position. It sounds as if the new Board members have had a good effect in the short term. The next step would be for the current Chairman to stand aside and for someone else to provide leadership- it can’t be done in silence anymore it’s just unacceptable. The club’s reputation has taken a knock - we’re the butt end of jokes about Shamrock Rovers etc. We were in my opinion upto 2018 a club that genuinely tried to get promotion maybe not the biggest budget in the world but at least we tried to get away of the small minded small club will never do anything mentality. It’s going to be a real rocky road but here we are.

As Alan Benton said last night - the only way is up ! There are another 5 divisions below us ....... East Stirling weren't a million miles off being relegated this season at one point

Shire never recovered from moving away from their own ground.....wasn`t it a guy called Macken that sold them down the river (Forth)?

I drove past the site of Firs Park this week. There was nothing to see really, wooden hoardings with lots of foliage protruding where the main gate once was.
