Surprised no-one else has started the predictions yet, so I'll start it off with a hard fought 2-1 victory for rovers

On our current run I'm optimistic: 2-0 home win

I hope the attendance will be higher than usual: the team deserves it. Very tough match: this is the kind of game we could easily foul up, so hopefully we just play like last week.

Mixed opinions on tomorrow's game - understandable.
Our record against Peterhead over the years hasn't been great - they've always been a tough challenge for the 'Vers home & away.
Their current form is pretty erratic - beating Airdrie away last week but suffering a few bad defeats too.
However, with The MIGHTY 'Vers on a 3 game winning streak, playing some great football and home advantage I have to go for a 2-0 victory to the home side!!

1-1 which on current form will probably be considered 2 points dropped as opposed to 1 point gained. But a draw keeps our momentum going.

Agree that Peterhead are usually a hard team to beat, they have had a terrible start and they must start playing soon, but let us hope that it is from next week onwards, I will go for a sound 5-0 win.

Totally inept performance especially from midfield (I take it Fisher is out of favour) they totally bullied us in the 2nd half . Puts our good work at at Livvy last week into the shade

Best thing about the game today was the old yin banging his drum. And that sounded like the death march...

Today we welcomed the fishermen from Peterhead. I was in my usual perch at the back of the stand which gave me a Birds-eye view of the match. I did notice a few Peterhead fans coming in late. I didn’t think it was that difficult to Findus but obviously they had a long journey to contend with. Clearly the lure of a fine day out in Coatbridge brought them south.
Dry and bright today. The pitch looks in great nick, maybe a bit heavy and there were a few worms in places, but there was no need for waders. We warmed up at the wrong end of the ground again and I’d genuinely like to know why that is. I like tradition and I’m not hooked on this change.
The first half was pretty even and overall quite an open game to be fair with both keepers having their quota of decent catches. Rovers had a couple of decent chances. The first fell to Wallace when a defensive error saw the ball break to him just outside the box. He created a bit of space and fired a shot pretty much straight at the keeper which he saved well. The rebound fell to Willis and he should have done much better than blaze the ball well wide.
Then from a corner Mick got his head to the ball and his flick found brother Ross in the six yard box. He couldn't finish though. At the other end Ross made a fine save from a decent shot from outside the box right on half time. So 0-0 at half time and I thought Peterhead maybe just shaded the first half.
Into the second half and the first decent chance nearly saw a calamitous own goal. A long, hopeful through ball from Peterhead fell to Ross Dunlop and as the keeper came out he headed it back forcing keeper Ross to make a fine diving save.
After that we threatened a few times but didn't ever really look like scoring. And then we were undone by our inability to defend a corner. The corner came in and was headed straight back to the guy who took it. He crossed in again and the ball ping-ponged about a bit before being flicked into the back of the net. There were some claims for handball but it looked like a goal to me.
I'm honestly not spinning a line when I say I think Peterhead deserved their win. They were more positive than we were today. We had too many passengers. Ferry can't pass the ball forward ever. He was hooked eventually but should have been subbed a lot earlier. Willis was an absolute waste of a jersey. He's lazy, can't find a team mate with a pass and again I would have hooked him earlier. Ross Davidson is a good player but I don't think he's suited to the number 4 position. He's too much of a lightweight in the tackle. I could be more descriptive but kids might be reading. Overall then, too many lead weights in our team today.
BoydOzil had a decent game and he is definitely one for the keep net. He tormented the Peterhead number 5, playing him like a salmon before hooking a shot past the post. Quite a big fish in a small pond is BoydyLake-Chamberlain. Scott McBride was excellent today and Reidy wasn't far behind.
Just a quick question to float past Darren should he be reading this - why did we persist the whole game with high balls to our shrimp sized forwards when they were up against giant prawn sized defenders? Baffling tactic today which clearly didn't work but was never changed.
It wasn’t a dirty game but there were a few tackles flying in here and there. The referee should have kept a tighter line on things and in truth was poor throughout. He blew for too many niggly fouls and seemed to not mind the Peterhead defenders going right through the Rovers players at every high ball.
The most appropriate man of the match today would have been Fish but he was an unused sub. He has to get a game ahead of both Ferry and Willis against Alloa next week. We miss him badly. The stadium announcer said the man of the match was number 3, Steven Boyd. Well, BoyDell-Alli is number 8 and McBride is number 3. It did look like the caviar went to Boydkazaki but for me McBride had a better game.
Attendance was 360 today so we weren’t exactly crammed in like sardines. Those that were there had gone along hoping to have a whale of a time but were left disappointed.
Overall then a pretty poor game and shame about the result. We're still 4th so no complaints really.

Agree guys - it was a very poor quality game today and we could have done much better.
However - we're still 4th in the League - YASSS!!!

Not so hot today, but that was the same team which destroyed Livingston last week. Not much went right, but typical of all Rovers teams since I started watching them. Onwards!!
