Glad to get the win, and encouraged that we done that from a goal down; but let's not kid ourselves on, we are not very good.

I'm not being disrespectful but it's like watching two amateur teams at the local park. It's competitive and enthusiastic but lacks any real quality. Just to completely contradict that Barry's goal was very well struck.

First half I thought we looked like a team in a rut. But we changed it Callum Wilson was the key for me. Thank goodness for the linesman because that ref wasn’t giving the most blatant handball of all time. It wasn’t brilliant but we dug out a result. Barry’s goal was tremendous and Arnie was my MoTM

Barry's goal was a cracker and I'm delighted we got the 3 points but make no mistake we snatched a win from the jaws of a draw. First half was dire, we simply aren't good enough when other teams are pressing us, so many players not tackling when the opposition are running at us with the ball, this has been evident for months now. When we lose possession, we don't work hard enough to win it back. Their goal was entirely preventable, as no challenge went in to the guy that set up their goal. We are too nice out of possession and the midfield is far too light weight. We need taller, more physical players in there. We need to address this is in January and build for next season.
Kaza and Fagan played well today. At least they were tackling unlike some of them. Calum Wilson made a difference when he came on which makes you wonder why he was dropped from the team for so long when the team was doing well, he adds more balance to midfield and has a bit of dig about him which others lack. Josh Tran also did well when he came on. He is direct and takes players on which is something we have lacked big time this season since Charlie's Departure. Both him and WiLson should be starting every week in my opinion. Much better second half than the first. I thought Bright was good and Niyah was poor today, how many goals has he scored in league? I would like to see Denholm getting a chance to see what he can do next week . Our game against Bonnyrigg at home in 2 weeks is crucial now. Our best opportunity to get into 4th Round in years and is must win. The club badly needs investment to get out of this division and a win in that game and an away draw to either of the old firm is our best hope home going forward.

That's a good summary, fergie. Only thing I'd add is that Prince is a bit of a mystery to me. Doesn't really offer much. Always near-ish the play but rarely actively involved. I wouldn't say he hides but he's not far away from it. One of these tall players who seems to get shorter when he jumps for the ball. Like I say, a mystery.

Really important 3pts, we needed that today much better 2nd half Calum Wilson made a big difference when he came on don’t think it’s a coincidence that our form dropped since he’s been out the team. Hopefully the team takes confidence from todays result 👍

Cheers D7, Yes he is a bit clumsy at times and doesn't have a great first touch but he has scored some cracking goals this season, a great header in a 2-2 draw away to Stirling Uni and a superb winner against Bo'ness away come to mind, but he can be a hit and miss at times. he was marked closely today but he is a unit and will always cause teams problems but I know what you mean about a bit of mystery at times lol . Hopefully he can be our Scottish cup hero in a couple of weeks as looking likely Joe wont be fit for that game.

Yeah a real mystery when he won the matches at Bo'ness and at home to Berwick. I am pretty pleased that my team won today. Next!
