Not sure what to expect from this one. We have proved we can hold our own against the best teams in this league. We have shown we can defend and actually look dangerous on the break. oh, and play a bit fitba'!!
However they have had an eventful week with all the comings and goings. Their players will no doubt want to stake a claim to the jersey...so will be out to prove a point. Let hope that will be their downfall. If we continue to maintain our form, this will be close, but I see a narrow victory. 1-0

Albeit we had lesser possession last week I'd say we had the more clear cut chances, so given the Livi result we should beat the bad guys easily. The big issue is though we are sloppy at home. Sort that out and we are there.

Can't wait for this one today!
The sun is beating down in Coat-du-Bridge and my 2 Airdrie supporting brothers and their other halves are attending the match - what could possibly go wrong???
I'll agree with a few of the guys above and go for a tight 2-1 victory to the MIGHTY 'Vers.
C'MON ROVERS - LET'S DO THIS(AGAIN)!

I hope Boyd is fit and Fish plays from the start.

I would opt for a tight 1-1 draw. They may be a bit galvanised with a new boss on show with the other on the Radio , so they have a point to prove. I hoping we are at them from the start and if can get an early breakthrough and keep going a 7-2 repeat would be satisfactory!

Poor first half but a fighting second half for sure. Fisher made a big difference: Darren he really has to start. Enough chances to take a point, but there you go. Are the Airdrie board prepared to accept their 'lunatic fringe' at matches? I wonder. Anyway big disappointment, but on to the next match. 1200 was at least a decent crowd. We missed Wallace today, that's for sure.

Not good enough to wait until last 10 mins to show some intent - should have been there from the start. An average Airdrie team made to look good by our lack of desire today.Gary Fisher has to start games as he controls our midfield area.Wallace also sorely missed today.

To be fair Airdrie had the better of the first half. But 0 2 was more than they deserved at half time. Needed a bit more muscle in midfield and as I saw it, the change to bring Fisher on in place of Ferry and Kyle on to push McBride up the park definitely made a difference.
The last 10 mins saw a fighting performance that give us a penalty (miss) a good goal chopped off (why) and a goal the ref decided was ok. Felt robbed in the end, not happy tonight....thats fitba'. Onwards and upwards to the next game.
Although we lost.... well done, good effort from the team. Tempted to say lets have a go a bit more but we need to keep the back door shut.
