Regarding the spelling, etc it makes the club look bad but understand the club don't have the resources to check these things. Don't really blame the media team either. It's the education system that's to blame with all the wrong priorities. Not a political dig at any party either as it's been a problem for decades.

Hi Mark, All of our media team are young volunteers who work had to deliver the very best content possible and travel the length and breadth of the country, without ever claiming a penny, to cover our games. Mistakes happen, but the message got out there. I don’t think anyone made their way to the Reigart because of two ns in postponement. Jordan. No, it was the lack of an apostrophe in today's that tripped me up😊 The curse of the Apostrophe! Being a bit of a pedant, here goes. Todays or Today's are acceptable/interchangeable nowadays. Unfortunately, should have a comma after it. Full stops are your friend, as I kept telling my students. And Spell Check is a useful tool which sometimes picks up on punctuation as well. I am not noising up the media group, they do a great job. And Calum can point out that I quite often forget to spell check the programme articles that I send him.

We’re all human, people make mistakes all the time, my 2 best mates work on the media team and work their arse off for the club, we’ve got one of the best media teams in this country and blaming the education system, what are you on about? It’s a simple mistake

It’s a simple mistake It unfortunately looks a bit unprofessional and amateurish. Pretty obvious I would have thought. That's why they invented spellcheckers. I blame the education system because every day I see generations who can't spell and count money. And if our media team go and look for jobs with companies they wont last long with spelling errors like that. I have copied the text from the post and pasted it below. Unfortunatley todays @officialslfl clash against @linlithgowrose has been postponned due to a frozen pitch We appologise for any inconvience and will confirm details of a rearranged fixture as soon as we can. Unfortunately is spelt wrong. Postponed only has one n, not two. Apologise only has one p, not two. Three basic errors which would have been solved by using spellcheck or Auto correct. Before you start having a go at people check your facts.

Have to say our young media team do an absolutely fantastic job.
I don't worry about the odd mistake here and there we are all human.
I've even been known to make the odd spilling mistake and I'm by far the most intelligent person on this forum.

It's not laughable it's amateurish. Especially with all the checking tools available. Instead of having a go at me take the time to do it right. It's constructive criticism, all you have to do is listen. Try it some time.

You’re criticising people who give their own free time up for the club. Who cares how things are spelt we’re all human. Is there anything else your gonna moan about. The media team do a wonderful job as does so everyone involved in the club

It's about standards and your own pride in what you do. The team do a great job but let themselves down by not using a spellchecker. How hard is it? Wasting my text breath. Whatever.
