This is up there with the East Kilbride result as Linlithgow are one of the fancied half dozen that were pre season favourites to be up there challenging. To a man the players worked for each other and unlucky not get a couple of more goals. We are on a good run at present and imperative we can start to chip in a few more goals against the so called weaker teams in the league. Saturday is an ideal opportunity to drive this home and we should be on the front foot from the start to carry on from Tuesday night. When I checked on East Kilbride they were 2-0 down to Tranent but somehow seemed to score 3 goals in a matter of seconds ! Lets hope they have left for another footballing world next year !

Pretty honest assessment from the Linlithgow manager in the highlights. Rovers 'spooked' them apparently .
Interestingly he mentioned Niyah Joseph. I really think his game has developed well this season under the coaching of Sandy Clark.
I would expect to see him move up a Division or 2 in the summer.

A very enjoyable night. I wonder if other Rovers fans would like to hear the attendance announced like they always used to do? I thought it was a decent turnout, maybe 280-300 with Rose bringing at least 50. The young fans are great but I'm not sure the players appreciated the flares, saw one player who seemed to be struggling to breathe, with his hands on his knees. Athletes don't want to be breathing in smoke. It smelled bad enough in the stand!

Bottom line is the young eejits are the future.
Smoke bombs and running onto the pitch at full time is daft but who wasn't daft.
If 10% of these young ones keep coming back until they're old enough not to be fannies then the club survives.

Pyrotechnics are illegal. Charging through the back gate is illegal. Entering the field of play is illegal. Verbally abusing club volunteers is just wrong - we actually have an older volunteer who won’t go down to that end of the ground. NLC issues our safety certificate with strict guidelines we must follow - if we are not seen to be following it it will be revoked, if anything goes wrong they would also be in the dock for issuing the certificate in the first place so I don’t really blame them. Tuesday night was not the first time they have ran on the pitch -some people may have seen me having to jump the wall 2 weeks ago to chase them at the end of the match - I am getting too old to chase kids and jump walls. So remember when you go to the match tomorrow, our stewarding costs have increased by £300 - and that still may not be enough to keep them in line.

I stand by my comment on the FB page on Tuesday-ban them now.

I don't think the club has any other choice.
