A disaster for sure, but we were well beaten by a uni team well up for it. I wouldn't turn against the team though. Shit happens. I reckon the uni boys were inspired by the beauty of Cliftonhill. P. S. The crowd figure:217? Oh FFS, it was loads more than that.

Make no mistake t was a complete and utter shambles today. we got what we deserved, it was a like a re-run of the game in Edinburgh when we were lucky to get a point, in fact I think it was worse, yes we did hit the post and missed chances and their was a ridicilous offside decision from a shocking referee but they could easily have scored more. I have been at a lot of games were Niyah was poor but that was his worst game this season, no matter how bad he plays Sandy will never take him off. Bright should have been on the pitch from the start against their big centre halfs. Niyah got nothing from them and looked like he couldn't care less like the majority of them today. They must have thought after beating cumbernauld they would just need to turn up to win but they didn't. You could have driven a double decker bus through our midfield today. Mcmahon who had been good recently was well off it today as were Duncan and Quigley. Fernie ran down the tunnel again at the end with his shirt over his head just like he did in the Spartan's Play off game. That's summed his performance and the majotity of the team's. We made them look good and gave them far too much time on the ball with no challenges going in on sevral occasions we we were just ball watching. McCaw got passmarks from me he tried his hardest but he is better on the right wing. Sandy just loves playing players out of position. Our first home defeat since the Cowden game at Christmas and today undid all the good work this year. Deflated doesn't cut it! And yet some still applauded them off the pitch!

FWIW, my guess was 235. I'd also cut the team some slack. Take away Alan Reid and the average age must be about 21. The uni boys have been improving lately. But I'm also staggered that Bright wasn't brought on earlier. Put him up top with Niyah and play a more solid midfield four.

Seen it all before I’m afraid. We always struggle against teams we’re expected to beat. Btw their second goal was the worst offside goal I’ve seen given - easily 4-5 yards off. It was a good job our season is a dead rubber. It’s not the end of the world the one thing I will say is if we have any desires to get out this crappy league we can’t lose to teams like that.
