Well played guys equiliser was a cracker of a header while we were down to 10 men and the winner was scored running clean through on goal then megging the keeper
Only God himself knows how brechin didn't score more goals with goalmouth scrambles a plenty they will be kicking themselves
But at the end of the day we scored 2 they scored 1 so we win
Both Davidson and mccann went off injured in the first half

BBC say Stewart og for Brechin goal, those at the game does that sound right, and is that the keeper or the forward?

Rain, rain and more rain!! Yes, Keeper went for a cross ball was slightly impeded, ball simply slid from his grasp and ended up in back of net. Wet gloves, wet ball, after some really good performances this season, this was just a wee error.... forgive and forget, move on, happens to the best keepers. 2 excellent goals tonight and some crushing tackles, we opened them up a few times and could have scored a couple more having been clean through with just their keeper to beat. They flung everything at us towards the end of the game and the ref somehow found extra minutes from somewhere. Our defence (and midfield) throwing bodies infront of the ball. Great stuff for a Tuesday night, well done all!!!!!

That was great entertainment for a wet Tuesday. We were deserved winners, notwithstanding the six yard box mayhem in the last 5 minutes. Thought Boyd, Stewart and Wallace (aka "The Animal") were outstanding up front with a lot of movement, skill and graft. Goes without say but the Dunlop's were immense once again too.

I'm sure quite a few Brechin fans feel that the ref. shafted them on Tuesday night by not sending of Ryan Wallace for a sliding challenge which had the Brechin player crashing into out dugout!
IMHO - the ref got it right by booking Ryan - it was a foul but the conditions made the tackle look much worse that it actually was. Couldn't believe the transformation this produced in the wee old man sitting in front of me with his wife - every time Ryan touched the ball after that he jumped up and screamed Animal!

Absolutely agree Shakey, there wasn't much in the tackle altho' it was 2 Rovers players sliding. It's traditional for City to have a wee old loud mouthed prat, they had one long dead now that every time a Rovers man chested the ball it was hand-ball etc.
