We all get caught up in the business of life and can easily take our eye off the ball as to what really matters and it is important to be reminded that a sense of perspective is required at all times.
I was privileged to visit St Andrew's Hospice yesterday at the invitation of Karen and Louise in recognition of the club's help with raising money for the hospice in a recent bucket collection.
What great work they do there and they certainly deserve all the backing they can get from Lanarkshire and further afield.

Can only second that Ronnie. My wife worked there for 19 years before her illness. We have many friends still working there and they are a critical service to the people of Lanarkshire.

Hear hear! And never a better time to mention perspective.

My younger sister spent her last months there, and I have to say that the staff were wonderful: nothing was ever too much trouble for patients and family alike. I always contribute when there's any kind of fundraiser on the go.
