From Raith Rovers FC... Paperwork has now been completed that will allow 20-year old left sided midfielder Darren Petrie to go on ‘Emergency Loan’ to League 1 side Albion Rovers, initially for a one month period. This will give ‘Daz’ the opportunity to get first team game time under his belt, and we are sure he will grasp this opportunity with both hands. Good luck, young fella! www.raithrovers.net/23386/darren-petrie-is-a-wild-rover.htm

A very talented young player, by all accounts. Welcome to Cliftonhill, Daz.

Youth player with Dundee Utd. Spent some time on loan with Brechin and Dumbarton before joining RR. A chance to shine now maybe!!

TBH neither of the recent signings fill me with great expectations following on from the departures of Josh and the Beast and wonder where the goals will come from even if Barrowman gets fit again.

With a name like Petrie, can we expect 13 goals in 1 match, as per his surname namesake of Arbroath against Bon Accord in 1885!

Can anyone explain "emergency loan" to me? What circumstances allows an emergency loan to be granted?
