Another big match for the MIGHTY 'Vers tomorrow then It'll be another tough game as Brechin are challenging well at the top end of the table. However reckon with home advantage and the motivation of the big Scottish Cup match coming up the guys will edge a 2-1 victory C'MON THE 'VERS!!

1.0 tight home win, building on last week and a wee run of decent home form (hopefully)

Hopefully the injuries have healed up - and the momentum builds up after last Monday - and Brechin have injury problems of their own - I will be supremely confident and fancy 4-1 ! we are due to give somebody a good thumping again !

Not sure what the score will be but I predict Ally Love to go mental at some point.

We're making light work of what I had billed "the January from hell" - I'd have taken 2 or 3 points from the four league games and the team have taken all 6 so far, conceding only to a wondergoal at Broomfield on Monday.
Next up, a couple of free hits at full time opposition (which gives a bit of time for the likes of Wallace, Stewart and McCann to recover). Then, if we want to be ambitious, a game against Alloa who are still potentially catchable.
I think Calum Ferguson is going to be an important player in the second half of the season. He has an excellent first touch.

Brilliant result from a team of battlers. All played well, but Fisher was absolutely superb in the second half.
I am really getting annoyed about the 'official crowd figures' though. Given as 332 today, but I think there were at least well over 500 in the crowd. I volunteer to do the counting, cos whoever is doing it husnae got a clue! Why is this happening?
Anyway, huge result for us today.

Must admit I thought the crowd was significantly above the announced figure. My cynical self thought that perhaps folk got it for free to buy a Celtic ticket and were supposed to leave but many didn't.

Aye wondered about that one myself. Great three points. Did look more likely to score but always nice to get the reward for the effort. Agree with comments about the Fish. At his best and MOTM for me.

Great result today, and all round great team performance. Bit dogged at times, but no lack of effort.Mick Dunlop and Gary Fisher were both exceptional, and Gary s individual effort, when flicked over head of Brechin defender, and hit on half volley, was something else.
