Rab in another thread nominated Paul Martin as the top Rovers manager.
I think I would go along with that.
Paul Martin super manager.

Paul Martin - built a team with next to no budget compared to Darren Young who won a Title using a war chest after our phenomenal cup run.
No contest

Darren Young - what a record for a young guy in his first managerial role.

Provan, Martin or Young. All managers who, in my time, have led the Rovers to promotion. Goodwin and Young with Championship winning teams Martin by the play offs.
Provans team didn't manage to stay up, Martins team did by the play offs and Youngs team had the highest league finish in my memory.
Yeh Darren might have benefitted from a few extra bob but he's in a league where other teams have a far bigger budget than him so taking everything into account I am going for the present incumbent
