We are travelling from Durham for the Queens Park game. Fingers crossed as I've already booked train tickets. The game called off last night has put me in squeaky mode!!!

Really hard to say. At the moment the suns out in Brig and whilst the park at the moment is probably sodden, it will dry out by tomorrow. I'm not sure what the weather holds for the rest of the week until Saturday. And as it's Queens Park we are playing I wouldn't expect an announcement until around 11am on the day of the match

Sam
At the moment we are very optimistic about the game going ahead on Saturday. However, I do realise the Scottish weather could still have a say.

6.45am Thursday Heavy Rain / Snow until early Afternoon. A dry Friday, then a wet Saturday is the forecast. Don't want to sound pessimistic, but I'm not hopeful.

Got to be realistic and think the weather is rotten, the park will be drenched, and history tells us our park doesn't cope well with that. I think winter football in Scotland is ridiculous, Tuesday night being the example of what happens every year and we wonder why folk don't turn up. Saturdays a game I would quite fancy but won't make plans this week to come as deep down doubt it will be on and then it will be another wasted Saturday.

Well the good news is that is meant to be dry for the next 36 hours, the bad news is that subsequent 36 hours is to be wet !!

Can someone start a thread for our annual "Summer Football" debate ?.
I've kept all my posts on the subject for the last 10 years so can't wait to get started.
Why doesn't someone just ask Tee Kasule if his back garden is playable and then we will know if the game is on ?.

Summer football would be rubbish: what about we hardy cricketers? I would miss half the season. No way!

Well this thread is turning into a 'what to do in Coatbridge on a wet February Saturday afternoon'! Can't turn the train round and go back to Durham so it's beer and rugby in the pub!
