Amazing that after 5 games at home and 5 away, ARFC have scored 4 home goals and 20 away goals.

For the love of God, that is the kind of game that would get football banned. And rightly so.
Two terrible teams putting on a poor display. The worst game I've seen this season by a mile.
So Brian - if you're on here, maybe you can explain why we can't defend straightforward balls into the box ffs? Today's loss from a corner not defended at all and then a bit of a scramble over the line kind of summed it up. The corner was won after the QP number 2 stole about 20 yards at a throw in which the ref chose to ignore. But that's season after season where we can't do the simple basic defending duties properly. It's not difficult. Get it sorted.
Fish won man of the match but I didn't think anyone deserved it. Crowd was 400 and something - pretty much average I suppose.
Interesting result for Airdrie and I'm sure P and B has gone into meltdown over that already. Next weeks game should be good and despite today's shambles I'm already looking forward to it.

A pretty dreadful result as it was against an equally dreadful opponent ! Must rank as the worst of the season - seemed to constantly pump high balls against a defence that seemed to relish this. The heavy pitch suited the Queens better - oh for the love of plastic ! Airdrie next - but they were stuffed at Arbroath . We will see next week who reacts better !!

Wish I'd went to Ikea. Dull. Boring. Predictable.........and that's both sides. Missed the goal !!!!! Player v fan confrontation !!!!!!. Apart from 1st half move with Victoria putting it over bar their was nothing to get excited about. Ronnie winning the 50/50 biggest cheer of the day. Wish he'd split it with me as compensation for dragging myself along to that today.

Last week’s result was bad this one in my opinion is worse.
“Frustrating “ is the word I would use. QP set out to frustrate and they did it very well although painful to watch. They played their 3 CH’s at the back and we really struggled to break them down .I’m certain if we had equalised they would have caved as they are not a good team. Probably the biggest disappointment for me today was our midfield I thought at times were outfought. QP Twitter have shown behind the goal footage and our failure to have someone on the back post has cost us.

Just not a good performance at all. I thought the pitch had more than a few bobbles on it especially in the first half. I saw the ball hit a bobble just as one of the players hit a shot and went well over. I heard a few fans moan about that but I did see it bobble, it can make a player look foolish.
Gary Fisher man of the match, I'm afraid not. I do like Gary as a player but his crossing and delivery today was just awful from corner kicks and when we had a free kick in a promising position in the second half he hit it wide when it was meant to be a cross. Also in the second half one of the players signalled for Gary to move closer so that he could pass it to him, a bit embarrassing having to do that to your captain but there you go.
I thought Ross Perry was decent when he came on as he was hitting the ball forward and was unlucky when hitting a diagonal ball to Alan Trouten when he hit the ball just a bit too hard, so I preferred that style compared to the pass to the side and then backwards play which really wasn't good to watch. Connor Shields started well off the bench but quickly fizzled out which was disappointing.
Anyway I am definitely going to the Airdrie game next week for 3 reasons:
1. Can Rovers play any worse than today...surely not
2. it is on their artificial pitch
3. Airdrie's thumping by Arbroath, they may well be too downhearted to recover in time.
So I hope Rovers win next week and that will help to get over today's bad day at the office.

Not good, but nothing we tried worked. QP fought hard and won the match: there you go. Move on quickly.

The biggest issue for me today was my halftime pie. Surely this was not a christies pie as advertised? If only id brought hockey sticks i could have played pens with my half time puck,,,and wouldav been better than watching the "game" itself. Seriously though are christies still suppliers does anyone know?

Starkey, Christies have been shut aw week, for their annual 'October week' trip to the world pie muncher of the year awards in Rochdale. This weeks pies were provided by the Home Economic dept of Glenochil young offenders institution. Inmate Wullie Pearson was responsible for inserting the holes in the pies. A just hope to God you didn't find any hairs in yours as well.
