I seriously fear for this Rovers team with a threadbare squad and heavy pitches I see a winter slump on the horizon.
That’s one point out of 12 against supposedly weaker teams with a run of games coming up against Alloa, Raith Rovers and Ayr United.
Yeh yeh we score goals and lose goals but we have a team of cowards.

Where to begin ? The forwards must be feeling thoroughly peeved off that all their efforts up the park are once again ruined by the shambles at the back. We were up against a pretty poor opposition that we should have put to the sword , but instead made them look like Manchester City at the end. I may be 54 with a chest size to match - but I am more than willing to stretch a football top on and be the Jock Stein that we need in defence ! A few heads need knocked together fast before we undo all our early season form and be chasing our tails at the bottom half of the league.

Brutal.
The only defence for today is that the defence was makeshift at best. So there is that. But when you can't do the basics right then you are on a hiding to nothing. The standard of defending is an absolute joke. Calamitous doesn't begin to describe it.
So Brian, the honeymoon period is very much over. This needs sorted and quick. And I know you know that but what are you doing about it? What do the players practice on a Tuesday and Thursday night?
An absolute shambles against an average Forfar side is hard to take. Be interesting to see how many of the 367 crowd from today turn up week in and week out to watch that dross.
Alloa, Ayr and Raith will really fancy it in the coming weeks. On this showing we'll be lucky to get 0 points.

Today was another let down , but to be fair with injuries and suspensions we haven't had a settled back four for most of the season. Today we started with another reshuffled back 4. The boy Mullen starting at left back when he spends most of the time with the under 20's at centre half (or wide left for the 1st team), then early on today Perry gets injured and we have our right back at centre half beside young Lightbody and one of our best midfielders at right back, so no wonder we looked shaky at the back again. I think calling the lads cowards etc is a bit harsh on them when our most experienced centre half's aren't playing and others are out of position and i have no doubt trying as best they can. Yes i think we would have been better off with a back 3 today after Perry went off with Lightbody , Mullen and Reid sweeping behind them and keeping Fisher in the middle with Davidson.

One of the worst defensive records in Scottish football tells you everything, it makes Trouten & Shields scoring exploits completely useless.
I wasn't there today so I better not give an opinion, otherwise the forum police and happy clappers will be along to tell me off and say that there are no problems and everything is fine.

Forfar looked like they wanted it more than we did today simple. another shambles at the back yet again, agree with comments we need a second option because if our pass pass passing doesnt come off we panic and any good work falls apart.
