I think it's fair to say our own keeper Ross is a bit of a time wasting specialist too. At 0-0 on Saturday he was taking forever to take free kicks and the like, doing that exaggerated run-thing that looks like he is moving in slow motion. It does my head right in.

I see the manager bemoaning missed chances on Saturday. Surely Darren isn't complaining about lack of firepower in the team.

The attack dogs will be along later. I think all those were contributing factors......but, we failed to take our chances as per other games such as Airdrie, but in general, I think the team is punching above it's weight, they work really hard, show good spirit...but if only we had what ever team in football seeks a 20 goal a season striker !

If this is a discussion board, then those who don't agree with something (positive or negative) can say so, and they frequently do. Thus it must work both ways surely? I don't agree with most of the negative stuff, so I say so. What's wrong with that?

...we NEED to beat them or our playoff chances could be finished.
You all want to have a read at that quote again,
here we are at the sharp end of the season and we are worried that our play off chances could be finished. I doubt any of us at the start of this season would be thinking about how disappointing our season would be if we didn't finish in the top four. My worry, and probably a lot of others, was that we were going to find ourselves way behind everyone else and certainties for relegation.
The team are more than likely going to finish in their highest league position for a very long time, I've been supporting them since the early sixties and they have never came close to anything like this. So lets not worry about our play off chances lets celebrate the fact that we are even in this position

I agree Sam, I would've took 8th place at the start of the season.

Me too - but it's going to be quite annoying to have been in such a great position for most of the season only to let it slip away. Expectations are just that - they can be revised!
Must win for me tomorrow - next 3 games will be difficult - Airdire (sic), Dunfermline and Ayr so 3 points required at Brechin!

End of season, I would take 8th place and be delighted.
The league positions from 4th downwards are so tight that a run of 2 or 3 games can take you right up or right down.
Promotion play off, nice idea but 8th (or higher) will make this a great season.
