Becoming abit of a joke now, thought Rovers would of got Draw today, Brian needs to get better loan players in, not these one thats not doing the job,, probably going to be even a worse score line on monday night in the cup game.

Would probably be better getting a new manager in who is tactically aware to turn a game round when necessary, and make the right calls when needed. We can only play one way,and that quite clearly is not effective

Terrible game of football.
More fight, desire and entertainment shown by the school kids at half time than what Rovers did the whole 90 mins.

Not great game played in quite difficult conditions. We don’t have much to complain about as Stranraer were the better team looked really dangerous going forward. In saying that we did have our chances-our home form is absolutely killing us this now. Normally 12 wins is enough to stay up in this league and it’s hard to see how we are going to get another 6 wins from. Things might change for us once the winter is over but it could be too late then.

Today pretty dismal again. Its hard to see where our next win is coming from unfortunately and our run for February is really difficult. I'm not however in the Kerr out group. Our budget is what it is and most of the time teams finish a league season not far off what their playing budget is. With that in mind we should be fighting relegation. Its worrying that Queens Park and Forfar have been picking up a few points the last month. Our players look completely shot of confidence, the midfield (if we have one) offer no protection to the defence whatsoever. Its annoying that it took 84 mins for subs to be brought on. It was crying out for a change for 20 mins prior and Kerr needs to take blame for that. Putting fresh legs on at 1-1 may have made a difference. Just hoping we can keep the score down on Monday or that St Johnstone take it slightly easy on us.

Its aways the same every season, we dont have money for the budget, we pay into the players fun like the rest do sofar, to bring in better players, but its not been the case, so were else does the money go to, now the money rovers got from the rangers and celtie cup games should of payed of the Debt for the club, so dont no why its been hard for them.

So - are you suggesting fraud here then Harris?? Everyone involved with running the club do so voluntarily. I pay into the players fund too. The money from the Old Firm games pretty much kept us afloat. Are you suggesting that Alan Trouten has been a bad choice for the Trust to contribute to?? Talking nonsense!!

The (big) money was spent - not very wisely but was spent.... end of. This season the players budgets have been spread out pretty well!

Harriskid44, as has been pointed out to you many times before, Rovers seldom (if ever) buy players as such. The club does however do its best to attract quality out-of-contract players like Alan Trouten by offering them a decent signing on fee and a decent (by Division 1 standards) weekly wage. Which is where the Squad Fund comes in. The £200 quid we contribute every month (plus the occasional lump sum, when our funds build up sufficiently) is a real help in paying wages and signing on fees, as is the very welcome £320 the Supporters Trust are chipping in every month between now and April. But it’s certainly not a guarantee of success, especially at a time when the player funds made available by the Club itself have rightly been cut back to affordable levels. Yes, the last two results have been very disappointing. But we have a lot of good players at Cliftonhill (as they proved earlier in the season) augmented by the three recent arrivals, and I’m sure results will improve again soon. So next time we lose, please don’t come on here implying that the hard-earned money we all contribute doesn’t make any difference. It most certainly does . But it is not, and never has been, a guarantee of perpetual success. Bill W.

Agreed Bill; I'm very proud of our collective contributions when we have helped to sign a fellow who scores 24 in half a season.
