An other bad day, i dont see us getting a win anytime soon, there is something wrong somewhere here and its not good for the fans to see our Albion Rovers struggle, all this hard work over the last few years going down the plug hole to Divison two, and that Divison will be hard to, we will have to start all over again.

Hard to see how we are gonna stay up now I’m afraid. Forfar picking up the odd win, anything other than beating them when we play them and it’s certain we will go down. When your having to score 3 to scrape a point you deserve to be relegated and we have had tonnes of games like that. There is next to no chance we would win 2 x 2 leg games in play offs either against teams in better form. Almost time to start the league 2 plans. (Hope I’m wrong)

I actually feel for the manager here. This was a crucial season for Rovers and we quite simply had to stay in this division.
It was never a job for a rookie manager. I don't doubt our manager has coaching abilities to some degree but this was always going to be a fist fight of a season and we needed experience.
Personally I think he has been hung out to dry here and made scapegoat.
If anyone checks my pre-season post I said at the outset we would be bottom 2 this season. No great skill was required in this prediction but we should have had some experience at the helm right from the off to at least give ourselves a fighting chance.
We are where we are on merit. No hard luck stories. We have had ample opportunity to climb the table with a run of home games and have blown it.
Going to be a long summer and I expect sweeping changes from top to bottom.

A first half with no fight. Second half they at least showed a bit of desire although didn’t create enough chances to scare a well drilled Alloa defence, Vittorias goal aside. It’s still possible that they can turn this round but I’m not sure they can. They looked leaderless for most of this game as well as the QP game I came up to watch and for long periods you wondered if they cared about staying up. I suppose if your on loan then you’ve always got the benefit of going back to your parent club.

Diabolical. Kerr should resign. Worse than lumsdens spell in charge. Anyone want a season ticket for the rest of the season? Sick of watching the most shambolic defence we've ever had.

Have a degree of sympathy for the manager myself - had nowhere near the money Nigel D Young had. In saying that I always cast back to the East Fife 5-4 debacle. The writing was on the wall then - I think Sharkey posted after this game along the lines of the defence would cost the manager his job- as usual on here anyone not showing Uber confidence in the team gets shot down in flames. The manager failed to act after this game and to be honest our season never recovered after it. I always think managers should get more than one season but I’m really in two minds about him - his assistant doesn’t do much to help.

What is just as frustrating is that we are losing against teams that are nothing special. The opposition do not have to be brilliant to beat us. They do not have to score wonder goals. Today was no different as Alloa were pretty ordinary and not a patch on any of the teams that they had in the past. We seem unable to control the midfield and on any 50/50 challenge seem to lack the physical strength to win the ball from our opponent. Opposition players seem to have a telepathy with each other and can react quicker when the ball is loose - this was witnessed by Alloa's first 2 goals today- and has occurred on numerous occasions this season. It is difficult to see where we can pick up points in the remaining matches - The Forfar match on April 7th will determine our fate I fear.

It's all very sad and absolutely brutal to watch. Can't really add anything to what has gone above except I don't feel sorry for the manager at all. This shambles is happening on his watch and he carries the can for that. The players aren't good enough and I don't think any of his signings have set the heather on fire. Or even looked like worrying the heather with a warm glass of milk.
I'm not a fan of Vitoria but I thought he deserved man of the match today, albeit from a pretty poor selection. He took his goal really well too.
If we finish 10th then we're gone obviously. If we finish 9th and get the first goal in the play off games then I think we'll stay up. Think I'll change my name-thing on here to d7theoptimist or stupid. Can't decide.

I honestly believe we will stay up.
Get behind manager and team. If we do lose out then that's the time to have a go.
Come on Rovers. Lets do it.

The backlog of games nearly finished definitely has taken its toll from the squad..... I think we will pick up more points in remaining games just hope it's enough to stay up
