I thought it was good. I have no issues with the managers picking on individuals or the team as a whole. I would be more worried if they came in and said “oh well done chaps your playing shit but that’s ok as it doesn’t matter to me if we get beat”.
It’s frustrating watchting them but it must be even harder managing them as you have went through stuff before the game only to see them not carry out what they have been told. Players need a bollicking sometimes, our guys aren’t excerpt

Indeed Sam if they showed a lack of passion they should have been shown the door sharpish. Likening the half-time and indeed to an extent the full-time dressing room to normal business practices isn't really apt although I can understand the point made. Whether you agree with the managers points or not is of course another matter.
Somewhat shocked at the reason behind wearing the change strip so often and was going to bring it up at the trust meeting on Thursday before hearing of this> I suspect we'll come to a solution unless the timescale to end of the season prevents this. Brian Kerr and Ronnie Boyd generally attend our trust meetings so it'll be interesting to hear their views.

I can imagine other clubs - players, mangement and supporters will be having a wee laugh at Rovers expense - again.

This section is in the article, and explains why we’ve been wearing our red strip for the past few matches;
”Such is the tightening of belts at Cliftonhill the side are playing every match in their away kit because the numbers 9 and 11 on the traditional yellow strip are so badly damaged by the recent bad weather and they have no replacements”

When I bought my season ticket at the end of last season the Chairman told me the yellow strips clean up better than the red and that's why they wear them so often. Stands to reason I suppose.
Anyhoo, what colour of strip we play in is the least of our worries at the moment.

And I know there's another thread for this but Trouts is definitely my POTY. Fish would be second, he's had a cracking season playing further forward.

Yellow top issue!! Get a grip and get behind the team, doesn't matter what colour's we play in, it's wins we need. So the keyboard warriors put your efforts into getting behind the players and the club. That's my rant over, feel free to reply if yous feel the need. PS in my opinion the black kit has been the best kit in a while 😎😎

There was a similar programme a few years back on the BBC with Partick Thistle and the dressing room antics of John Lambie - not much difference in the intervening years ! I also liked the black kit as there is something fearsome about it - that's what we need for the next 4 games !

Read the article, makes a lot of sense.
Watched the video, oh dear.
The content of the article and the video, specifically the dressing room scenes, do not match up. Slagging off the team is one thing, slagging off a player individually, on camera, is just wrong. The team is struggling, encouragement should be the order of the day. Also, could someone not take the management team aside and discuss the way they abuse the officials. Do the officials ever change their mind on a decision? Seldom, if ever. Officials are only human, sometimes they have a bad day, does reminding them at every opportunity help? Officials are only human, at a sub-conscious level, constant abuse must sometimes mean a 50-50 decision goes against you. Pity the poor linesman who has to run the line along the home dug out. Time for the management team to apply a little psychology.
Wonder what the point of the video was from the Rovers point of view, let's hope they got some cash for baring their soul in this way.

Are the management team supposed to watch their Ps and Qs just because the cameras are in the dressing room. Nonsense, if a player is having a bad game he deserves to be told to get his finger out. The management team will know their team, they will know who they can have a pop at and how that player may react. The first half against Alloa was dire, the second half performance was a hell of a lot better so perhaps the bollicking did the trick, but it shouldn't need to wait until the half time talk the team should know the responsibilities before kick off and Gary Fisher as one of the more experienced guys in the team should be one of the leaders. Oh and I'm loving the comment about not abusing the officials, if what the management team said to the officials is the worst they have to face all season then they will be rubbing their hands, some of the abuse the officials get from fans at the side of the park is a disgrace, some of it from our own but I don't hear anyone castigating them, difference is they might not lose their job if the ref or linesman gets it wrong. Frustration is huge for the manger of a team,,,,even you should know that

That's what football changing rooms are like
That's the way dugouts are during games
That's football

Don’t think the debate is that it happens or doesn’t happen. The players were filmed at an end of season game. The managers got tore into the players, it happens, but what were they saying that was of substance? These mistakes have happened all season.
Surely the manager had time to work on this before the Alloa game? All the shouting and bluster to me masks the fact they have not prepared the team. Passing the buck to what definetly arnt a bad group of players. Defensively the management team have got it all wrong all season but we didn’t see them being accountable. Refs and players being lazy/careless can’t be the reason we are being relegated. The manager steers the ship
Anyway let’s hope it doesn’t do forfars team talk for them considering the visible flaws from this video but it’s provided some people reassurance with the all the managements empty shouting.

Don't think it passes the buck
We have watched the players make the same mistakes all season why wouldn't they be frustrated did you see the performance v alloa I was shouting the same things
Players being lazy in tackles is exactly what gets you relegated

I agree with all of that. I'm pretty sure it happens in most dressings rooms but that doesn't make it right. It's so 1950's as well. Do we really think that's what motivates people these days? Plus (and I can't be @rsed looking at the video again) does Brian not run a coffee shop or something? Does he behave all 'Gordon Ramsey' in there? I doubt it. Yeah they're different environments but decent people should know how to behave. I'm sure if his mum watches it she'll be very proud.
