No I genuinely don’t know what else would be required. Youth teams the length and breadth of the country would be delighted with the opportunities Josh’s side were given last season. Then all hope is lost I'm afraid if you believe that. I’ll refer back to my earlier post, and specifically the bit you ignored. Because clearly you have big ideas and skills, so what have you done with them? You are brilliantly placed at every home game to speak to members of the board, offer support and ideas, which you clearly have many, on how best to progress with the youth system, so have you offered to assist with this or mentioned it at all?

Easy answer. Yes. And on this board. Yes. Your point?

I know many kids from Coatbridge playing at very high academy level. At least when they get binned we will have a club to give them an opportunity at an age where they are likely to feature in the first team, if they are good enough of course. So the strategy is waiting from the crumbs from the table? I now clearly see the vision and how that ends up being 9th place with no ambition. My opinion only. No idea if that is the strategy of the club, however that is the way many clubs are going and they are in higher divisions than us so it appears to work for some.

No it's not but that is what's there at present. Various SFA technical and youth directors are still trying to sort this out, if they ever do then that will be the time to re-evaluate. A club and successful first team are the priority, I'm sure most vers fans will agree! No. The club need to develop young players. That's the secondary strategy that co exists with the primary goal. 🤣

I guess it would depend on how you went about it. If you put your ideas forward constructively then that surprises me.
If however you just had pops at the club without actually putting forward anything of substance like on this thread then it’s not surprising 🤔😂

ProRege, I suspect you would get the same reception as BobMcP got when he got involved....remember him? He texted e-mailed several people constantly for weeks before throwing a tantrum when questioned why he would buy a scarfe from somwhere that had nothing to do with the club

The first team is a priority, I would be raging if we cur the 1st team budget to put it into youth, think your sticking up for your mate Caldwell here, was he not the co-coach of u19's The youth system was the first thing to go to save money years ago when Frank Meade took charge, it was identified as a black hole for money straight away. Let's look at things a totally different way to stop a debate turning into an argument. Say the club was looking to set up a youth system where would the money come from?

Theres a lot of money kicking about in the Business world for community work. Have the network and you're in.

He presented a paper to the board, congratulated them on the work they were doing and then disappeared. I think he knows who "H" is from Line of Duty. Hence the silence.
