Selkirk of course are no more, having gone belly up quite a few months ago.

Indeed, fond memories of a great day out there for a friendly a few years ago.

I realise Penicuick have had a good season and are in the East of Scotland play offs but I just noticed their last 3 home attendances :-
Musselburgh - 495 Bonnyrigg - 477 Broxburn - 454
Just highlighting the calibre of clubs emerging from these leagues and vying to get into the Lowland League and onwards.

Why are we worrying about the lowland league?
Secure the manager, players he wants to keep and targets identified players for next season. Good pre season and take it from there. Look forward not behind!!

One point is that teams seem to have crowds we can only dream of.

We have to look over our shoulder and take stock of where we are.By some miracle we escaped relegation this season and the fans deserve these few weeks of basking in the afterglow of our miraculous escape.
The Lowland League is where it looked like we would be plying our trade up until a few weeks ago.
It's a huge close season for Rovers. I doubt there will be a team in the league as poor as Berwick Rangers next season so recruitment, retention and a forward thinking BOD with fresh innovative ideas for taking the Club forward is required.
I was trying to highlight there are ambitious clubs hovering in the leagues below us with professional set ups, cracking facilities and a decent fan base.
Notice Bonnyrigg Rose v Penicuick last night had an attendance of over 1,000 which is pretty remarkable for a midweek game.I understand it's a play off game but still a cracking gate.

Grant, you were bang on with your estimate of 1000 for the game at Shielfield, actually 975. Well over 200 of us, which shows how many Berwick fans knew this was make or break game.

Totally agree Tommy about the club moving forward. Lets finish this season first and see what the coming weeks bring. Bonnyrigg v Penicuik is more or less a local derby, important play off game as well. I'm sure if we were playing Profs other team in similar circumstance there would be an equal, if not better turnout.
